Catching up

"So what do you think of the notes that he had?" Valintean asked. "Well the fact she's deceased is wrong first off, I mean she's been staying with everyone in the dorm." Alice stated. "And he only managed to find out that she heals from pain and scares quickly whereas as we know silver eyes people have that anyway meaning he didn't find any of her unique abilities so all we have to go off is Elise to prove that silver eyed people can have multiple powers, however that could also be down to the fact that he has magic." Alice continued. "You definitely know what you're on about." Valintean said trying to take that all in at once. "Of course I do I've only been researching it for two hundred years Valintean, plus we have you as proof that normal people can develop powers, due to that explosive strength of yours." Alice said. "That we do." Valintean stated. "Well anyway continue digging in Roberts research and I'll see what I can do when Elise and everyone get back." Alice stated. "So they did go after him?" Valintean asked. "As far as I am aware they did." Alice replied.

Another two days had passed now and the group had grown a bit closer to each other, and had also come up with their own plan of entry. "Okay so does everyone remember what the plan is?" Asuka asked. "Oh and what plan would that be?" A familiar voice asked, causing everyone to turn towards the voice, revealing the Witch Blair to be stood there. "Hey Blair." Terry said. "Terry what a pleasant surprise but what are you doing here?" Blair asked. "We came to find Elise, and he came to get Rin." Asuka stated. "I'm guessing this one is your daughter Terry." Blair said. "Yes this is Asuka." Terry replied. "She definitely has your spark, but anyway you know you shouldn't be here, and so does Elise." Blair stated. "I know but when you speak of the devil he appears, look." Terry said, pointing up to a massive floating island with a grand castle on top of it, and just on the side of the island inside what looked like a magic barrier surrounding it was Elise stood on what looked to be the ledge of an underground window. "What the hell is he doing?" Charlotte asked. "Can't tell from here, think you could get a closer look Blair?" Terry asked. "I can but I don't think it would be smart to as I might blow off his balance. But by the look of it he's trying to get in by that window so once he's in I'll help the rest of you in so you can help him, but after that you all are on your own, got that." Blair said sternly, which everyone just smiled and nodded to, except Charlotte. "Yeah I don't do heights so I'm not to sure of this." Charlotte said while wanting to back away, but that didn't matter as Elise was already through the window and they were floating in a line next to it, and each one climbed into the window after Elise.

First one in was Charlotte and instantly she ran up to Elise and hugged him while he was talking to Rin which caught him of guard. "What the fu...... Char what the hell are you doing here?" Elise asked while giving her a hug. "They were worried about you so I brought they here as they wanted to help you." Terry said after climbing through the window last. "Terrumi you bastard I told you not to tell anyone where this place was." Elise said. "He didn't he just showed us to it instead." Asuka said with a smirk, Elise just shook his head while Rin giggled. "What's so funny Rin?" Elise asked. "The fact you didn't think to bring them to help, but they showed up anyway." Rin said. "Well they're here now and that makes this harder as we have to break the barrier long enough to get out." Elise stated. "Can't Rin just blast it?" Miss Yuuki asked, Elise shook his head. "That would just get blasted back at me tenfold so that would be a dumb idea." Rin stated. "What if the spot is frozen first, by something that isn't magic?" Asuka asked, and Elise had a small smile on his face. "That could work though the magic of Rin's blast wouldn't even make it to the barrier before being blasted back so that wouldn't work but good idea anyway." Elsie stated.

After about twenty minutes of bouncing ideas back and forth between each other, they had decided that they weren't gonna come up with a plan between them, but they had nobody they could turn to. "Why don't we just ask Blair if she knows how to break it?" Asuka asked. "She said we was on our own once we got in so don't think she will help." Terry said. "So that's how y'all got in here, but anyway, she might at least tell us how to do it." Elise stated. "That I can do, but it's easier said than done, the only way to do it is with the second part to your magic Elise." Blair said as she walked into the room looking for supplies in the boxes scattered all around the room. "Second part?" Rin asked, confused. "The part that only one other person can use but that person hasn't been seen in years so we can't help you with it in anyway you have to find it urself." Blair said as she found what she was looking for and started to leave the room. "And I'd hope you find it fast since who knows who will be the next to enter the room." With that Blair left the room leaving Rin and Elise looking at each other, while everyone else was just looking at Elise.

Ten minutes have gone by and nothing has come up, Elise has tried a load of different types of magic training techniques that Rin knew of and was currently on meditation. "So how long is this gonna take?" Asuka asked Miss Yuuki. "I'm not sure Asuka, but what do you think Alice is doing back at the academy?" Miss Yuuki just asked back. "No clue." Asuka replied. "Would you two shut up!" Elise exclaimed as he spun round to them, and when he did a dark purple slash of energy came from his arm as he spun round, leaving Rin awestruck. "Elise, that was a blast of pure dark magic, that's what Blair must have been on about, reckon you can do that again?" Rin asked, and Elise just smiled and focused a bit with his right arm lifted and he shot out three small blasts of that same magic. "I'll take that as a yes, so let's go." Rin said and everyone just nodded in agreement and headed back to the window. "Char I know you don't like heights but you're gonna have to trust me and just jump after me alright?" Elise asked, and Charlotte gave him a unsure nod, which he took, and then he jumped straight out the window with everyone following including Charlotte, who had her eyes closed. While falling Elise send out multiple slash's of dark magic managing to break the barrier enough for everyone to get through, now it was Rin's turn as she made a massive air blast beneath them all as they was about to land slowing their momentum and allowing for a safe landing. "Char you can open your eyes again, we are back on solid ground." Elise stated, and Charlotte did listen and opened her eyes. "Alright then looks like it's time to head back to Terrumi's base for a bit so I can plan my next thing." Elise said as he and Rin walked away, hand in hand.
