It was late at night and I was awake. I had considered the idea of running away with Dream. I waited until midnight then packed up clothes, snacks, and tools (like a pocket knife.) I stole my dads lock picks and started to head to the garage when I remembered about money. There was 400 dollars is my purse so I threw the whole thing in. I took my bike and rode to the stable even though it was a half an hour drive away and I was on a bike I got there before the moon started to disappear.

"Hello, Dream." I whispered, "We are goind on a little adventure." She pricked her ears forward as if she knew what I was doing.

I tried lock pick after lock pick, trying to get into the tack room. Finally I was in, I grabbed 3 brushes, 1 hoof pick, and a western bridle. I wasn't going to use the bridle tonight, I was just going to ride with no tack. Before I mounted Dream I grabbed a  halter and lead rope. I rode Dream out of the stables and on to the rode. I had never seen the streets so empty.

I rode Dream into town and there was no comotion at all. I had never seen it like this. I pushed Dream into a lope and took off towards the forest. It took a while to find a good place to set up camp, but finally I found a creek to stay. I gathered sticks and made a small shelter leaning on a tree.

I didn't know how but I knew I would make it out here for at least a month. As long as I had Dream with me, I was sure I could do anything.
