I heard a knock on my door. I wish I had locked it because it came open. Thank goodness it was just Ally.
"Meg, I'm sorry we didn't tell you sooner," she apoligized "maybe something good will come ot of this.'
"How could somthing good come out of this?" I asked, frustrated. After a while she left. I snuck out of my cabin at 12:00 so I could get all my chores done early. I had to give my first lesson today.
After I fed the horses I brushed Dream. The sun was rising so I had a granola bar for breakfast. Alexis arrived at 8:00 as always. After that was a little 6 year old girl. Her name was Amy, who owned a welsh mountain pony named Opal.
After we were introduced I helped her groom and tack up. She warmed up in the round ring and then we went to the jumping arena. I set up a small jump and gestured for Amy to come over it. Opal knocked over one of the bars with her hind legs.
As I set the pole back up I could here someone entering the arena. It was Alexis on Camanche.
"Exuse me we are in the middle of a lesson here." I said. She ignored me. I gestured for Amy to come over the jump again But she was cut off by Alexis coming over the jump first.I think she is one of those me first gal's.
After the lesson I leaned up angainst Dreams stall and looked a the article about my parents death.
"Poor little ophan girl." a mocking voice said. I looked over to see Alexis. Oh great.
