It was about 7:00 a.m. when I woke up and took Dream to the lake. I could tell her lake was her favorite spot to graze. I was about to head up to camp, but I saw a guy snooping around it. He had a note pad and then wrote stuff down before he left. Luckily he didn't see me or Dream.
I was so scared people would find me and take me and Dream back, or worse. I packed up all my stuff and rode Dream away. She ran so hard that she stopped after a minute. I hated to make her work so hard but I didn't want to go back. She had stopped at a tack shop, so I went in. No one was there except for a tall, skinny, old man behind a counter. He had a bored expression on his face.
I went to look at what the store had and bought two alfalfa cubes, and a carrot.
"Is that all?" the man asked in a monotone. I nodded and took the things outside. I gave Dream the carrot and she scarfed it down as fast as she could. She had plenty of time to rest so I got on her and walked her for a while. I didn't have a destination, I just wanted to walk.
Night fell and I left Dream tied to a tree that I sleped in. Would I ever find a new place to stay? Dream would have to be ridden so much, and I would run out of food some time. I was too tired to think about this for long. Before I knew it I was asleep.
