"We don't like eachother." I said as we rode in the arena. Shaylin gave me a look to say 'obviously'. I guess it wasn't really hard to tell. I only hated her because she was an annoying little brat.
"Why don't you like eachother?" Shaylin asked me.
"She's a brat, and I tought her some lessons for that." I replied. Shaylin should have known, I remembered her helping me with one. I looked over my shoulder and saw Alexis was not looking at me anymore.
She was looking at some cars pulling up. Some people brought out flowers. Others brought out tables, chairs. and silver ware. It was things for the jumping competition.
"Meg, come here. I need you to help us set up the tent." Linda called out to me.
I dismounted Dream and untacked her in her stall. As I ran to the people tring to set up the tent I saw Alexis glaring at me, again. I rolled my eyes.
"Okay, what do you want me too do?" I asked Linda.
"Help us lift the poles." She commanded. I went over to a pile of metal poles. I lifted one end of one and struggled to pull it over to the area for the tent. Then I found it to be easier. I looked behind me and saw Ally was lifting the other end.
I gave her a nice little smile. We continued the procces with the other poles. Soon the tent was set up by some other people. Ally and I hugged eachother. It seemed like a while since I talked to her.
"Hey, do you was to have a sleep over tonight? I asked.
"Sure," she said "sounds like fun."
Tommorow was the jumping competition. Dream was ready. I went over to see my horses and greeted them both. I had only ridden Buck once so I jumped on his back and trotted him in the round ring.
Soon enough Ally showed up at my cabin. I wondered why I was still staying there if Linda was going to adopt me. Ally brought me a C.D. of a cop show. We watched it, and it wasn't bad. It wasn't the best show, but Ally seemed to love it.
"So, how many horses do you own?" I asked Ally.
"Just one." She replied. You would think she owned more since her mom was the owner of the ranch.
After a while we just went to sleep, but I woke up. Dream is ready I repeated in my head.
