Chapter 16: Why Me?

~Briana's POV~

"Okay now tell me Tyler, how did you know what my flower was, and that my favorite chocolate was Lindt?" I ask as we eat out pasta salad.

"You do have a best friend you know. I ask her anything about you and she will tell me." Tyler says laughing. I nod my head in agreement and we finish reading. " Wow, Tyler, look at this sunset!" Tyler laughs and stands up.He talks over to me and takes my hand. He then intertwines our fingers and grabs a blanket that says, "To Infinity and Beyond" with an infinity sign.He lays it out and we sit down. I rest my head on his should and stare at the sunset.

"I'm so glad I can call you mine." Tyler says breaking the silence. I move my head so that I can look at him. "It would have been really awkward if you said no." We both laugh, quietly, not wanting to ruin the moment.

"Hey Tyler?" I ask him looking at him again.

"Hmm?" He asks looking down at me.

"Why did you pick me? Why, out of everyone on campus, you chose me?" I ask him, truly curious.

"I'm not sure, being honest. On the first day, I immediately started looking for a girlfriend, since it was a new start. Then we ran into each other, and, I don't know. I just knew that you were the person I wanted to date."

I smile at him and he smile back at me. "Well, you have no idea how glad I am that you chose me." Tyler leans down and connects our lips. I place my hand behind his head as his goes on my hips, like it was made to go there.

°°Warning gets a tad bit heated, but nothing too bad. :3°°

I throw my leg over his so that I'm straddling him. He bites my lip, asking for entrance. I tease him and don't give it to him. He pulls our lips apart for just a second. "Please?" He asks his voice  full of lust. I bring our lips back together and this time, I let him in. Letting his tongue explore my mouth. My hands travel slowly down his body until I find hem of his flannel shirt. Slowly I bring them back up to the top of his shirt and find the first button. I work with my hands to unbutton it, and do the same with the rest, talking my hands down his chest and stomach. Once I get them all unbuttoned I put my hand and his warm skin and trace it with my finger.

Tyler pulls away and puts his mouth on my neck, finding my sweet spot. I let a moan escape from my mouth. He releases and brings our lips back together. I run my hand through his hair as his travel my body. He finds the bottom of my shirt and plays with it until his hands go under it and I feel his cold hands on my stomach.

I pull us apart and we both gasp for air. "We should stop." I tell him and he looks deep into my eyes. "Why?" He asks me as he traces circles on my back. "Because, if we don't stop, it will go a little father than it should." Tyler nods his head in understanding and we both lay down, looking at the stars. Tyler puts his arm around me and I lay so I'm facing him. I put my hand on his still bare chest. "You know I love you, right?" I ask him, my eyes still glued on the stars. I feel his hand play with my hair.

Tyler laughs. "Trust me, I do. And you know I love you?" I laugh and nod my head.

~McMagical Time Skip~

"I'll se you tomorrow Tyler." I say giving him a quick peck on the lips. "Goodnight Briana." He says and we part ways. I grab my room keys and Tyler does the same. I look over to him and realize his door was right next to mine. "Well, this is awkward..." Tyler says, addressing the fact that we already said our goodbyes. I laugh and open my door.

"Hey Bri!" Lauren says, setting down her books. "Heyoo!"

"So, what did you say?"

"What do you mean?"

"Bri, I know that while you were on your picnic Tyler asked you to be his girlfriend!"

I stop dead in my tracks, how did she found out? "I... Said yes."

I turn around to see Lauren running towards me like she is about to tackle me. Lauren hugs me so right, I can't move a muscle. Or breathe for that matter...
