~Briana's POV~
"And I just can't live without you." Tyler says then the video is cut off. Normally this would be enough. But no, not for Tyler. I've always wanted to meet him, let alone date him. Now that I got the chance, he showed me who he really is. I can't forgive him, no matter how much I want to.
And trust me, I want to.
•Tyler's POV•
I can barely hear Bri listening to the video. Is that really what I sound like? Why do people watch me if I sound like that?
The video ends and I hear Lauren and Bri talking. Oh how I wish I could hear her talking to me. "No." I hear Briana say that one word and I know it didn't work. Time for part B. I grab the flowers and walk to their door. I take a deep breath before knocking on their door.
I look and see that the note is still lying in the hall. I go to pick it up and... Shit. My credit card falls out of my pocket and some how, it slides under their door. Fuck. That was not supposed to happen.
~Briana's POV~
Lauren goes to open the door since we both know who it is. Right before she opens it she stops. She comes running back over and hands me something.
"Go make him pay." She hands it to me and I see that it's a credit card. Oh, he'll pay. He'll pay for everything I'm about to buy.
I stand up and open the door. Tyler's standing out there but I ignore him and sprint past him out to my car. I start it up and drive to the mall.
Funny to think how the last time I was in this car Tyler and I were dating. I'm going to miss that. Maybe I should just forgive him. He sounded so depressed in that video.
I shake my head and focus back on the road. No. I can't forgive Tyler. Not yet, at least.
I park and run into the mall heading towards my favorite store: Hot Topic. Immediately I start browsing. Tyler runs into the store and I pay for my first round of shopping. I run around the store avoiding him, but still browsing. I hesitate at the Minecraft section. Minecraft. Tyler. I want to forgive him. I look up and see him turn around a corner coming closer to me.
I stay out to late
Got nothing in my brain
Shake it Off starts playing. No! Not now. This is my jam! I run around the store and into the changing room to catch my breath. I see Tyler on the other side of the curtain. He is breathing heavier than me.
I hear the chorus of the song start and I sprint out of the dressing room.
Cause the players gonna play, play, play, play, play.
And the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate.
Baby I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake.
Shake it off, shake it off.
I start to forget about running from Tyler and start dancing. My dancing is terrible and I really shouldn't be dancing in public; but when your jam comes on, you have got to dance.
Hey, hey, hey!
Just think while you've been getting down and out with the liars and the dirty, dirty cheats of the world;
You could've been getting down, with this sick beat.
I start walking towards Tyler and he just stands frozen in time. Probably wondering why I'm walking towards him.
My ex-man brought his new girlfriend,
She's like "Oh my God",
And I'm just gonna shake to the fella over there,
I point at Tyler and get so close to him, I can feel his breath on my face.
Won't you come on over baby,
We can shake, shake, shake.
I feel my heart start to beat faster and faster. Our eyes are locked and I can't look away. Suddenly I feel the pleasure of Tyler's lips on mine. How good it was to feel his lips again.
We pull apart and he locks our eyes again. "So, does this mean you forgive me?" I nod my head and bring our lips together again. We walk through the store together putting everything I grabbed back on the shelves, except for the things I already bought.
Hand in hand, we walk out of the mall and have to go our separate ways to drive back. I lean over and kiss him on the cheek before heading to my car. Once I'm in it I squeal with joy, glad we're back together.
