Chapter 17: 1 Chance

~Briana~

"Tyler!" I yell running over to him "Hey what's up?" He says when I get to him.

"Where were you last night?I tried calling you, but you didn't pick up!" Tyler's face suddenly turns very red, like he was hiding something.

He nervously puts his hand behind his neck "I-I.. um.. I can't tell you.." He tells me. Oh no. He can't tell me.. Why can't be tell me? This has to be bad. This has to be very bad.

No. It can't be. He couldn't have. Or could he? "Tyler, tell me. What were you doing last night? I'm your girlfriend. You can tell me anything." I say grabbing Tyler's hands. My eyes search his, looking to see if he is guilty. "I.. I was out with a friend." Oh. Okay, well if he was just out with a friend.. "Which friend? Do I know them?"

"Uhh.. Um.. He-his name is Matthew. And no. You don't know he-him." Why does Tyler keep almost calling Matthew a girl? Definitely suspicious. "We met in Chemistry class."

"Tyler, I'm in your chemistry class. There is no one named Matthew." Just as I finish saying that a girl, I think her name was Maddie? Yeah, she's in my math. Anyways, she walks by, and its not like I didn't notice her flirting with Tyler..

Oh god. Tyler was out with Maddie. It all makes sense. We don't have a Matthew in our chemistry, and Matthew sort of sounds like Maddie. Tyler.. cheated.. on me? After only ten days as a couple?

"Tyler, you weren't out with Matthew were you? You were out with Maddie." Tyler's face flushes. Apparently he didn't think I would be that smart. He sighs and nods his head.

"Really Tyler? What was your reasoning?! Did you really decide after a week of dating me that you wanted someone else?! That I wasn't good enough for you?!" Tyler tries to speak but I don't let him. "You know what Tyler? This is low. This is lower than I ever thought you would go. Ever. If you decided that I wasn't good enough for you, just break up with me! Don't make me find out this way! You still think we're dating? News flash! We aren't. You can now go fuck off. Or, I don't know. Maybe you will end up fucking Maddie!" As I finish yelling, I turn and walk into my dorm room. Not looking back at Tyler.

Deciding to never look at Tyler again.

°Tyler's POV°

Fuck. No! What just happened? Did Bri think that I cheated on her? I didn't! Yes, I was out with Maddie, but that's because I was asking Maddie how I should plan Bri's surprise party! We weren't on a date! But Maddie thought we were, she kept flirting with me and trying to kiss. At one point, my back was to a tree and she surprised me and forced me against the tree.

You know what she did? She fucking kissed me! I of course, because I'm dating Briana (or at least I was...), I tried to push her off! It was hard, but what kept me trying to push her off was the fact that I HAD A GIRLFRIEND!

Shit. I can't believe this happened. I messed up. Big time.

That's when it hit me. Literally someone threw a crumpled up piece of paper at me. I stare at it, lying on the ground and look to see who could have thrown it. No one was looking at me so I shrugged it off and picked up the paper.

Tyler,

1 chance. You get one chance to explain what you did to me. I won't talk to you though, still very mad at you <\3

I stare at the paper. I get to prove it to Briana. I can't tell her in real life, she will never listen to me. I have to do it some different way.

And I know just the way.
