Where's Ur? ~A Fairy Tail Fanfic~ (under construction!)

Chapter 7

“Fairy Tail…” you stared up at the sky in thought of what it would be like.

“Ugh… no more, I’m done…” you groaned to yourself as you face planted into the grass. Sitting up you wondered how long you had been walking…

“ONLY FIFTEEN MINUTES ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!” it had felt like a lot longer. After Lyon and his friends had left, you scrounged up what you could from the village and your treehouse. Which had only been half a dozen apples (most of which were badly bruised), 500 jewels, a pair of black boots, jeans, a leather jacket, and a plain (f/c) t-shirt. That and a bag to carry all your newfound possessions in. Luckily the outfit seemed pretty normal for a guy, and the loose t-shirt didn’t make you look as skinny.

So you had set off and were now completely lost.

“Of course I was able to find everything but a map!” you complained aloud. Sighing, you watched the grass blow gently in the wind, your (h/c) locks along with it. You noticed a small ladybug crawling along one of the blades.

Had it really only been fifteen minutes? Fifteen minutes since your world fell apart? Fifteen minutes since you lost everything? Fifteen minutes since… you found a lead on Ur…

The ladybug few off into the air, red wings fluttering as it kept itself aloft. That’s right… you had a lead on where you could find Ur.

Standing up with newfound energy you headed deeper into the woods…

“How many times have I passed this tree?! Ugh I’m done!”  this gave you a serious feeling of déjà vu. You stripped off your jacket and placed it on the ground next to you, taking one of the apples out of your bag as well. That woman… Sherry? She did say that Fairy Tail was close right?

“Man… how am I ever going to find it..?” you spoke aloud again.

‘I really need to stop talking to myself’ you chuckled inwardly.

“Find what?”

‘Haha… great I’m answering myself. A sure sign that I’ve gone crazy’ you closed your eyes and rubbed your temples.

“Oi… dude didja here me? I asked what you were looking for. Don’t ya know it’s rude to ignore people?” ok, that was NOT your voice. Your eyes snapped open. In front of you was a man, he had some shocking features. For one, there was his pink hair, that was offset by his obsidian eyes and white scale patterned scarf.

“Hm? Maybe you can’t understand me..? I. AM. NATSU. I. AM. ASKING. WHAT. YOU. NEED. HELP. WITH.” he articulated every syllable. You giggled at his attempts to communicate with you.

“What’s so funny?” Natsu asked, now appearing slightly agitated.

“S-sorry,” you laughed out, “but I can understand you, sorry! It’s just funny the way you talked to me!” you finished, making him pout and look away from you. You chuckled again.

“So… if you can understand me… what’s your name?” Natsu asked.

‘My name… what should I tell him… (y/n)? Or…’

“(m/n)… my name is (m/n)” you responded. It was probably better to have him think you were a tough, guy exploring the woods than a lost, girl who couldn’t even find one stinking building.

“Nice to meet you (m/n)” he replied with a goofy grin, spread across his whole face, “I said this already but, I’m Natsu! Natsu Dragoneel.” You nodded in response. Then you noticed a blue cat sitting behind him.

“Oh, is that your pet cat?” you inquired of your new friend.

“Pet? Of course not! Happy is my friend!” you smiled at his response.

“Aye!” the cat, Happy, spoke. The cat, Happy spoke… THE CAT SPOKE?!

“H-huh?!” you stuttered and slowly pushed yourself away from the creature.

“What’s wrong?” Natsu asked, genuine confusion displayed on his face.

“T-the... cat…” you stuttered.

“Hm?”

“THE CAT JUST TALKED!!”

And then your head blew up because of disbelief… the end~ Sorry I had to! XD Jk though… this was kinda a filler chapter but I guess also not… Please vote, comment, and follow!
