‘So Natsu’s in a guild? Maybe these people can tell me more about Fairy Tail…’

Bright.
That’s the first thing you noticed. Then:
“(M/N)!!”
Someone calling you? Man… how annoying…
“Think he’s dead?”
“Psh… no way Happy! (m/n) too cool to die!”
“I don’t think that’s how it works Natsu…”
Your eyes flew open. Blinking a few times, you sat up and noticed you were in an unfamiliar place…
“Oh, (m/n)! You’re finally awake!” said a voice. You turned in alarm and looked next to you and see a familiar pink-haired boy. Your gaze immediately softened and you relaxed, it was Natsu.
‘That’s right,’ you remembered, ‘I met up with Natsu after…’ It was hard to think about. Something you’d rather forget.
“Geeze (m/n) you space out a lot,” Natsu said, once again gaining your attention.
“Sorry, Natsu,” you reply with a sheepish grin.
“Anyway,” Natsu continued while standing up, “ready to get going?”
“Going?” you replied still half asleep.
“To the guild, you seemed excited last ni-”
“Ah! That’s right! You’re gonna take me with you to see your guild!” you exclaimed jumping up.
“What are you waiting for? Let’s go!” you shouted while running out the front door.
“H-hey! Wait up!” Natsu yelled from behind you.
“Aye!” exclaimed Happy as he flew to catch up with you two.

“So,” you began. Your little trio had been walking for around 15 minutes or so… and you didn’t really care for the silence, “what are the people in your guild like, Natsu?”
He seemed to think of it for a while before responding, “Well… oh! There’s Erza! Yeah she’s the toughest in the guild, second only to Gildarts I suppose.” Natsu was obviously proud of his guild.
“And then there’s Lucy, she’s really nice. But she likes to read a lot which can be really boring… I suppose that’s why she gets along with Levy so well. Levi’s in a team that consists of Jet and Droy as well…”
“A team?” you interrupted Natsu, “But aren’t you all a part of the guild?”
“Well yeah, but sometimes us guild mates will join together in teams so that we can kick even more bad guy butt!” Natsu replied with a smile.
“Cool… can you tell me more about your guild?” you asked with big, shining (e/c) eyes.
“Sure… hm… Gajeel and Juvia, I suppose they’re kinda important. Gajeel’s this really huge jerk who sucks… most of the time,” you giggled here. But Natsu brushed it off and continued, “I don’t really get along with him. Since he tried to destroy our guild once, Juvia too.”
“What happened?” more questions from you, “I thought guild members liked their guilds?”
“Well, they weren’t always part of our guild. See, the two of them used to be from a guild called Phantom Lord. That guild’s master, Jose, was in a long time rivalry with our guilds master. So this huge all-out battle started and there was some fighting, then Lucy got captured, then she was free, but then she was captured again, and she left to go with her dad, but then she came back, so the guild was all broken but we fixed it so it’s fine now,” Natsu quickly summarized. But that left even more questions that were unanswered.
Perhaps it was just better to ask another time…
“So you listed a lot of names but not any types of magic?” you said with a smile.
“Oh you’re right!” Natsu exclaimed with a face that really said it slipped his mind.
“Where to start…” he wondered to himself.
“Natsu! Natsu! Start with Erza’s magic!” Happy spoke excitedly from his perch on your head.
“Yeah Erza! She has this really cool magic where she can switch armor and weapons really fast! And then she flies around and cuts people up!” Natsu spoke excitedly.
‘What kind of magic is that? Switch armor? I could do that… flying… like Happy?’ you let those questions bounce around in your head until Natsu started up again.
“Lucy uses this summoning magic where she uses keys and calls all these people from a different world. You can’t eat them though…” he said with a sigh.
“Wha..? Eat them?” you asked yet another question.
“Yeah, like she summons up this giant crab and all he does is cut hair… and say ebi…” both Natsu and Happy seemed disappointed.
“Oh, sounds… cool?” you said uncertainly. You were about to ask him to go on when you realized that you had come to the entrance to a town.
“Here we are!” Natsu said excitedly, “Magnolia Town!”

Long chapter is long and overdue. Sorry this took a while… and that the whole thing is mostly dialogue. But hey, more characters were introduced and you’ll get to meet them next chapter! Also I’m back in action! With a sudden burst of inspiration (and some prompting from a friend) I should be able to update on a more regular basis! Please vote, comment, and follow!
