Honestly I don't know how many chapters are left.

CHERYL POV:

"Don't get hurt." I look up at Toni. He takes a deep breath. "I can't promise that. But, I will do my best." I pull him into a long kiss. "I love you and no matter what I will always love you." He whispers. I hug him for a good ten minutes. "I love you." I whisper. We pull away. "I'll see you soon." He whispers walking away to catch his plane. I wait for him to be out of site and go pick Nicole up. "Hey Sweetie." I say trying to sound happy as Nicole runs up to me. I pick her up. "He'll be home soon. He promised me." She whispers. I take a deep breath trying not to cry in front of her. "When is Grandma coming back?" She ask changing the story. "She'll be here for your birthday." I say quietly. "Come on. Let's get your homework done." We go home. Once we get there we sit down in the living room and do her homework. I look up at Nicole. She looks just like Toni. "Mommy. Stop staring at me!" I look down. "Sorry." I whisper. There's a knock on the door. Nicole looks up. I gasp. "Who is it?" I ask knowing exactly who it is. I get up. "Come on!" She runs over go the door. I help her open it. It's B&V. After everyone hugs and catches up Veronica pulls me aside. "How are you doing?" She ask quietly. "I don't know. I'm trying to be strong Nicole." I say quietly. "I'm just worried something is going to happen to Toni." I panic. She pulls me into a hug. "He's going to be ok. Even if something does he'll be ok." She tells me. "It's not that. I'm just worried that if he comes back he's not going to be here and his drinking which hasn't been a problem in years is going to be a problem." I look over at my daughter. "I'm going to change the subject." I look back at V. "I see a ring on your finger." I takes my hand to look at it. "I would say the same but that happened months ago." I smile. "When did this happen?" She ask excitedly. "A few weeks ago." I brag. "When are you and Betty tying the knot?" I ask with a grin. "September 5th." She smiles.

"Mommy I can't sleep." She whispers quietly opening the door. I quickly wipe my tears. "Come here." I pat the bed, she gets up on my bed and lies next to me. I rap my arms around me. "Why are auntie Betty and Veronica here?" She ask quietly. "Because I need help with everything." I whisper. "You and dad were talking about high- high school and how that was 5 years ago." She sits up and look at me. "It's not adding up." God why does she have to be so smart? "We were going to sit down with you and tell you this but I guess you're bound to ask questions." I whisper. "Umm. Dad has a older brother had you with his girlfriend at the time and they weren't ready to have you. So when we were out of high school and were ready we adopted you." I tell her. "But you know what?" She shakes her head. "Me and dad love you more than anything and I don't want you to ever doubt that." I whisper. "Wait so you're not my parents?" She ask quietly. "No! You are still our daughter. It's kinda hard to explain. I didn't have you but we adopted you, legally you're our daughter. Does any of this make sense?" I ask confused. She lies into me. "So you're still my mom legally?" I nod. "Yeah." I rub her bag. "Why didn't they want me?" She ask sadly. "Because Dad's brother isn't a good person and they couldn't take care of you." She looks up at me. "Why?" She ask quietly. "Nicole I'll explain this when you're older. It's a hard subject." I whisper. "You should go to sleep." She nods and gets under the blanket. "I still love you." She whispers. I get a text from Toni saying that he's at his hotel. "Is that daddy?" I look down at Nicole. "Yeah, do you want to talk to him?" I ask quietly. She nods. I call Toni and put him on speaker. "Hey Cher. I'm guessing you're not the only one on the phone though." He says excitedly. "Hi dad!" Nicole says excitedly. "How are you sweets?" We talks for a while about how everyone's day went. "I'm going to bed." Nicole gets up and goes back to her room. She doesn't even let me say goodnight.

"Does she know where Toni is or what he's doing?" Veronica ask quietly. "No. She knows that he's not here but doesn't really understand why. I hate lying to her." I whisper. "How is this working because last time I checked this isn't America." Betty says out of nowhere. "I'm only here for work and we are both here on work a VISA so he just went back." I look up at them. "What are you going to tell her if something does happen to him?" I look at my cousin. "I have no fucking idea." I groan.

TONI POV:

"You have a girl at home?" I look up at the woman in front of me. "Yeah? Why do you assume that?" I ask quietly. "The picture over your bed." I look back at a picture of me and Cheryl at prom. "Yeah that's my fiancée Cheryl." I look back at her. "What's your name?" I ask quietly. "Rebecca. You?" She ask quietly. "Toni." I whisper. "How long have you been engaged?" She ask quietly. God I hate small talk! "Not even a month." I whisper. "You left her for this?" I nods sadly. "I don't want to be here." I confess. "Than why are you?" She ask quietly. "For my mom." I take a deep breath. "I'm assuming she dies in service." I shake my head. "No, she left before she died. She died when I was 7 by my fiancée's father." I say to depressing. Which I guess makes sense. Rebecca looks at me confused. "Her father shot and killed my mother. But we didn't realize it until her brother died and we were at his funeral. I really don't want to talk about it." I try to change the subject. "You with anyone?" I ask quietly. "Yeah. I have a wife and 2 kids." That's when I remember that I also have a kid. God! I'm a fucking idiot. "That's cool." I sit back. "What are your kids names?" I ask quietly. "Kyle and Justin. They're twins. Do you have any kids?" She ask quietly. "Yeah, I have a daughter. Her name is Nicole. She's 5." I pull out a picture from my bag. "She looks just like you." I look up. "Yeah she was my brothers and some stuff happened and we ended up with her before she was even old enough to remember."  I say sadly. "I'm sorry about that. Your life must be hard." I nod sadly. Why am I here? I should be with my family.
