CHERYL POV:
Ok drunk Toni is the funniest thing ever. She doesn't know what he's doing. And he cries over everything. "Hey." I sit in front of him in the library. "Hey." He whispers. "How drunk was I?" He ask closing his book. "You told me I was a gay icon." I say. "Cheryl Blossom to the office immediately." Oh god. "I have to go." I get up and leave to the office. "Mom?" I say walking in. "Cheryl. We need to talk."
"Cher?" I throw my bag on the floor of Toni's room and slide down the door. "Jason killed himself. Last night, I left his house to pick you up. The last thing I said to him was that I hated him." He closes his drawing book. "Cheryl." Why did I say that to him? Why did we fight? I hate fighting with him and I love him. Toni sits in front of me. "He knows." That's all he says. I look up at him. "He knows you love him." I shake my head. "No, he told me what he was going through and I yelled at him because I didn't know how to react." I say. Toni sits back against his desk. "I get what you're saying. Before my mom died, we got into a argument before we went out. Luckily we made up before she died but, it sucks." He looks into space. "I never really told her how I felt. Not about her, about how I didn't feel right in as a girl. She knew but she never really said anything. She told me to be myself and all that she never said if you want to be a boy go ahead." He shakes his head. "This is about you not me." I take his hand. "No. Please keep going it will get my mind off of the past twenty-four hours." We talk for the next hour or so about everything. "I can cancel going with my dad, if you want me to. I want to be there for you at his funeral." I shake my head. "No, you haven't seen your dad in years go." He gets up and sits next to me. "Cheryl Blossom, I hate him more than anyone. I want to see him so I can tell him how I feel about him and I have a feeling that when I do I will regret what I have said. So please let go with you." He says rapping his arm around me. "Toni. I'm not letting you deal with my family." He kisses me slowly. "Cheryl I want to be there for you."
"How do I look?" Toni ask showing off his suit. I fix his tie. "You look handsome. You just need to fix your pants." I motion to his pants. "Oh shit." He laughs and blushes. He fixes the bulge his pants. "Do I look like I have a boner still?" I shake my head. "No, you're fine." I kiss him slowly. "Come on, let's go." We walk out and leave to Thorn Hill. We get out of the car and take a deep breath. "Hey." He takes my arm and I turn around. "You're going to be ok." He kisses the top of my head. We walk up to the house and everything is awkward. "Mom." I look down. "Welcome." My dad walks out and Toni gets quiet. We walk in. "What's wrong?" I ask quietly. "I think your dad killing my mom." He says whispers. My heart drops. "Toni That's impossible you haven't lived here your whole life." I cup his cheeks. "No! There is something about him, I looked the man that killed my mother right in the eyes." He starts panicking. "Cheryl, I think he killed my mom." He whispers again. "Toni. You were 8." He gives me a look. "There's something about him." He looks down. The sad part is Toni's probably right. "Hey, we'll talk about this later I need to pretend I'm ok." I also need to talk to Nana Rose. "I need to talk to Nana Rose. Don't get in trouble my parents will burn you alive." I kiss him on the cheek and walk away to Nana Rose. "Hey dear." I sit in front of her. "Who is that boy?" She at motioning towards Toni. I look back. "My boyfriend, Toni." Toni walks around m awkwardly. "You love him?" She ask. I nod. "More than anything." I swoon. "What happened to Jason?" I ask changing the subject. "He didn't kill himself. Someone killed him." She looks around and pulls me closer. "I think your dad killed him. I don't think it is the first. When you were in 3rd grade, he took a trip to Ohio. There was a murder Nicole Topaz. She was found with the same bullets that your fathers gun." She says. I look back at Toni. Ok, maybe Toni was right. "Cheryl. What's wrong?" She ask. I look back mouth wide open. "Nothing. I'll talk to you later." I get up and walk over Toni. "You were right." I cup his cheek. "What are you talking about?" I ask. "My dad. I don't want to talk about it right now."
"I think I'm ready." He says as we go back into his room. I kiss him. "On one conditions." He look stops me. "I don't want to take off my shirt." I nod. I kiss him and unbutton his shirt. "Tell me to stop if you need to." I say kissing him and pushing him on the bed. I take my dress off. I straddle him and kiss his. "Cheryl stop." I sit up as he jolts back. "Did I touch you somewhere? Or something." I ask concerned. He nods. "Yeah. Actually." I lie down next to him. "I'm sorry." He says quietly. "It fine. What did I do?" I ask rubbing his shoulder. "My chest." My heart drops. "Toni I'm sorry." I sit up. "I would say it's fine, but it isn't. It's not your fault though so that's fine." I laugh and kiss him. "You're so awkward." We roll over and he's on top of me. "You're the most beautifulest girl I've ever met." I kiss him again. "You're pretty handsome yourself." He cups my cheek. "You're sensational." I kiss him.
