THIRD PERSON

Lucas sighed happily as he opened the door to the house and he collapsed on the couch happily.

"Well, you're happy." Said his Dad,"What's got you like that?"

"Have you ever had a crush?" Luke asked Louis, sitting up right and looking at his father with shining blue/green eyes.

Louis smiled wide,"Of course, I have."

"Doesn't it feel amazing?" Luke asked giggling because of the butterflies on his tummy.

Louis laughed,"Of course it did. I remember my first crush." Louis said sighing and looking as if he was looking into the past,"He had dark hair, brown eyes and he just had this style that brought so much attention to him. And he was nerdy with amazingly cute glasses-"

"That doesn't sound like me!" Harry said from the bottom of the stairs, frowning a bit.

Louis grinned at him,"Believe it or not, I had a lot of crushes before you. You happen to be the lucky one that got me." He said.

Lucas laughed,"This is why we get along so well, Dad."

"Hahaha, hilarious." Harry said sarcastically, rolling his eyes before walking to the kitchen.

"So, what is yours like, Luke?" Louis asked his son.

"He's just perfect." Luke sighed happily,"His blond hair and his brown eyes. He even protected me from being beat up."

Louis smiled,"I'm glad you found someone to protect you. What's his name?"

"Levi." Luke smiled and blushed,"He's amazing, he even has slight muscles."

"That's great, Luke. He'll be your protector I see." Louis winked.

"The only protector Luke will have is me, ok?" Harry said taking a seat on the couch,"No one is allowed to have a crush on you because you're my baby and I don't care how girly that sounds."

"But Pops! He didn't allow his brother to beat me up today! I think me and him can be a good couple." Luke said whining at his overprotective father.

"No dating until after marriage."

"Harold!" Louis scoffed, hitting Harry's shoulder.

A few weeks later the question was a little be different.

It was during dinner when the question popped up.

"Pops? Dad?" Luke asked looking up at his father's biting his lip.

"Yeah?" Louis responded for both of them.

"What are the signs you're falling in love?"

Harry started chocking on a piece of chicken. Luke just looked at him with nervous eyes and a shy smile.

"Excuse me?!" Harry said,"No! You are not allowed. I said, exactly 9 1/2 weeks ago that the only men you need is me as your protector and your father as the one who spoils you. Nope. Not acceptable." Harry shook his head.

"Ignore him." Louis said rolling his eyes at his husband,"Falling in love is so most beautiful and the most dangerous thing you can ever do, sweetheart. But it happens all the time." Louis began explaining to his son.

"It comes when you least expect it, sometimes with the person you least expect. But that's only because in the stage of love, the heart is in charge. Not the mind. Because in that stage it doesn't matter what your mind thinks, it's only about what your heart wants.

"You'll notice even the smallest little habit. Every imperfection they have becomes your favorite thing about them because when you love someone, you see no imperfection.

"They'll be in your mind day and night. When they're near, you'll start getting nervous and you enjoy their company no matter what. Love is something that comes out of no where and it just kind of sticks."

Luke nodded and blushed and then he said the words that Harry did NOT want to hear,"Dad, Pops...I think I'm in love."
