Lucas was practically bouncing as he made his way to one of his best friends, Landon.

Landon faked a smile as Lucas stood in front of him. He already knew what Lucas would be talking about.

"Gavin is taking me on date today!" Luke announced, his blouse coming up and showing his skin as he bounced happily.

Landon gave him a (fake) smile he couldn't let him see,"That's amazing! Where is he taking you?"

"He's surprising me!" Luke said happily,"I-i think I love him. I'm kind of scared."

Landon laughed, God, how could he not see anyone with Luke is with him?

"Don't laugh!" Luke said blushing,"It's just he makes me so happy. I think I got it right this time."

Landon knows he's gotten it right. He couldn't help but just know that the guy that Luke was talking about it attractive. He would probably everything Luke wants,"I agree. All I ask is the he respects your boundaries."

And that he holds you tight, because in his arms, the person that I love. I hope he realizes how beautiful your eyes shine when you're happy or talking about something that you're passionate about, Landon thought, and I hope he takes good care of you. Because if he breaks your heart, I'll be left picking up the pieces with you tell me I'm a great friend.

Luke smiles and hugs Landon tightly,"Thank you for looking out for me. You're like a big brother to me."

Great now I'm a brother, Landon thought. Regardless, he hugged Luke just as tightly. He knew that it was time that he moved on. Luke has found his forever.

"I hope this is a friend." He heard the voice of boy in front of them.

Luke pulled away and smiled widely,"Gavin!" He jumped up into Gavin's arms.

F.uck, Landon thought, he's hot. I would hit that.

Gavin hugged Luke back with a chuckle,"Hey, babe. Who's this?" He asked as soon as he had put Luke down.

"Gav, this is Landon. He's like my brother from another mother. Landon, this is Gavin. My boyfriend." Luke said, introducing them.

"Oh, what's up, man?" Gavin said, giving him a manly handshake.

"Heard you taking him on a date. Take good care of him." Landon said. I'm dead serious. Please realize that you're holding my world in your arms.

"I don't need to be taken care of." Luke said, rolling his eyes,"I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself."

Gavin chuckled,"I know, babe. If he's anything like a brother, he has to say that."

Luke just crossed his arms and pouted,"We have to go, Gav. We only have 3 more hours before my parents want me home."

"Alright." Gavin said with a nod. He quickly shrugged off his jacket and have it to Luke,"It's cold out there and you don't have a jacket."

Luke giggled,"Thank you." He started to walk out but quickly turned to hug Landon,"Bye, Lan."

Landon hugged back,"I'll see you Monday."

They let go and all Landon could do was watch the person he loved, love someone else.

All he could feel was regret. He should have confessed his feelings that day in the car like he was planning to. If he hadn't chickened out, he would like to think Luke would be his.

Now, he's a brother.

"Arugh!" He yelled, punching the locker,"Fuçk! Fantastic!" He clutched his hand as pain struck him.

He wasn't home until everyone else was asleep. He knew his dad would be on his ass about it but he needed time to just relax.

He sighed and sat on the side of his bed. Landon's eyes wandered until they landed on the picture placed on his bed side drawer.

It captured a memory of him and Luke. They were in the Malik house, the pool out front. Their faces were stuck in silent laughter as they faced each other.

Landon smiled slightly before putting the frame faced down. He wasn't sure if he was going to get any sleep tonight but he had to try. So he laid back and closed his eyes.
