Who would have guessed

That when this girl spoke to me the first time we met

That she would be my nigga , someone I would never forget

Her chocolate flawless skin , that glistened in the light

Was more than enough to make the niggas wanna fight

She had a body of a goddess , though you would never notice

Unless you paid attention beyond how she would flaunt it

Her voice so sweet as she sung tunes from heaven

She got it from her mother probably singing before she was seven

She had a sense of humor that attracted all types of souls

She was the life to every party through conversation on the phone

Who would have thought we would become so close

I can call her anytime and she'd never put me on hold

When I went through my depression she was right by my side

Introducing me to a better type of lifestyle

Though she never pressured me to be what I am becoming

I have no one to thank but her for this upcoming

Person she slowly created through each conversation

She told me she would be there and was there everyday since

She doesn't spend all of her time on these boys

She's all a bout a check , if it ain't green it's noise

You gotta be an all around nigga to really get her heart

If she finds out you're otherwise she'll bring you back to the start

And leave you where she found you and keep going with her day

I must admit I admire where the thoughts in her brain lay

No nigga could ever sit around a table and speak of her name

Jenasia , soon to be a name of fame

Did I mention she's smart , I mean really intelligent

She speaks as though she went to school for the elegant

But she came out the hood jus like me

Born in New York , but you would know that from her lingo when she speaks

When you see her you may feel she's stuck up

But the day I got to call her my friend I lucked up

And found someone I could let loose with

And help find my inner voice and make me listen in

She brings out the better in me I love my nigga

But let a bitch try her , I got my finger on the trigger
