The Letter to ANB

You were just here, now you're gone

To the one that metaphorically made you leave home

The one who made you leave someone who would have given their life

Laid down and died just to make sure you had a chance to smile

Your turning tables put me in this awkward predicament

And I began seeing things I never thought I would witness

But I'm living

Don't get it twisted

I thought without you I would fade

But I still walk around with a smile on my face

I look as though I have never been through anything, never been hurt

When in actuality I lost everything I thought was my good luck

Bad relationships after another, and I lost every time

I just wish that before you came into my life I would have seen the signs

Blinded by what? I wish I knew

Cause love was never a factor when I fell for you

Thank you for the experience, thanks for the ride

But most of all thank you for making me believe another lie

So when a woman ones along to fill the shoes you left

I won't even give them a chance to see if the shoes fit

But it's not your fault, you were just the icing on the cake

Another episode of bullshit to come smack me in the face

So to you an the rest of my ex's I must say thanks
