"You said this was the last time!" he screams at her.
"She's my baby girl. You really think I would leave her with those greasers?" she says while saying greasers in distaste.
"Hmm... let me think. YES! Her dad is a greaser for llamas sake! And I thought you want him back."
"Oh I do... this is phase one." she says grinning evilly. She looks at the back seat and sees Emi looking at her with hatred, fear, betrayal, and she sees a single tear roll down her face. Her mom is not phased. Not one bit. She actually enjoys the fear she sees in her daughter's eyes, "I'm getting your dad back. One way or another sweetie. And you can't stop me." she does an evil cackle that sends shivers down Emi's spine.
Emi doesn't say anything... then again she can't really say anything, but... if she could she wouldn't have. She tries to be brave and roll her eyes at her mom. Before her mom says anything she looks out the window. It's dark outside, but she looks at the stars that shine brighter than the sun, or at least in her opinion they do.

Back at the Curtis household, you hear a lot of shouting, "I should've gone with her!" Darry says.
"You!? Me! I'm her brother! I'm a fucking idiot!" Dally says.
"Oh come on Dallas let's face the facts: a- you don't give a shit bout anyone, besides Johnny, b- you're not actually her brother, and c- I'm her father."
"Fuck you Darry, I may be a cold hearted asshole, but she's still my sister. I was there for her growing up--" Steve cuts him off.
"Technically, we all were."
"Shut up TV." Dally says while chuckling a bit.
"Yo, fuck off."
"Sorry ma lady." Dally looks back at Darry, "You weren't actually there for her. I was. Who was worried out of their mind when she first got kidnapped? Who was the one to never lost hope on her? Eh? Who, who was there for her when she had her first panic attack? Who knows her more, eh? Do you even know what she went through? She's had a bad experience, and now this crap? I fucking wish I was able to give her a fucking better life, but she's stuck here, on the East side now. I don't mind because I love her, but I want her to have a better life. I want her to--"
"Shut up Winston, aight? I know you were there for her, I wish I freaking knew about her because if you don't remember, my ex-girlfriend took her from me. She didn't tell me I had... have a daughter. I was there for her sometimes, and I wish I was there for her more, and I can't go back in time, but I wish I could, aight? Think about what comes out of your freaking mouth before you say anything aight?"
Dallas needs a few minutes... his head is spinning, he just wants his little sister back. Without another word, he gets up from the couch, and out that door into the dark night.
--
The car comes to a holt, "Aight, get her outta the back. And take Bob too."
The guy looks at her in annoyance, but obligates her orders nonetheless, God Bob's fucking heavy, the guy thinks as he tries to lift Bob out. He goes to Emi next, and with some struggle, was able to get both of them out of the house. When Emi looks at where they are she starts freaking out, just like in my dreams she thinks. She struggles, and tries to get out of the guy's grip, but all she gets is a slap in the face. She stops moving at the impact, and tries to think of a way to get out.
"Time for phase two." she hears her mother say. She's worried how many phases her mother has, and she's worried if her plan would work. She needs to think of a plan, and fast too.

Inside the Curtis house, everyone was quiet. What they don't realize, someone else is looking through the kitchen window. They quietly walk around the house, and follow Dallas. The shadow follows Dallas up until the lot. The last thing Dallas sees is the big tree Emi loves to climb.
--
"Get your hands off of me!" Dallas hears as he slowly regains consciousness. What the hell, he thinks.

Hey guys, it's Jay.
I'm so sorry I haven't updated in a while. If I'm being honest, I'm just losing interest in the book. I don't think I'm going to continue it. I'm sorry. I'm not a hundred percent if I'm going to discontinue this book, or if I'm coming back.
Let me know what you guys think I should do. Thank you so much for reading.
-Jay
