Hey guys, so I'm going to do a recap as the prologue (which is this— I'm stupid, you guys know that because of the title) and I'm going to start the story after this. Hope you guys enjoy!

Previously in the Winston, Cade, Curtis, Randle, and Matthews lives...

"What the hell do you mean they're goin' back to school?? Eh?" Darry asks, more like hollers, at the twins.

"We mean..." AC starts.

"...is that..." Dal continues.

"They're. Goin'. Back. To. School." They finish at the same time, giving more emphasis on each word. What the hell has gotten into Darry? They both thought.

"Right after they were fucking kidnapped?!" Darry explodes. One day after the kids got kidnapped, and the twins want them to go to school. Darry... whale he wants them to be home.

"We weren't happy 'bout it either! Ight! N why the fuck would you care Dar? You ain't their brother, nor their father." The twins explode together.

Darry stands there in shock. He was shocked at himself, but also at the guys. Do they really think the kids will be safe? "I'm lookin' out for 'em, aight? They're kids for Cupid's sake! N how would you know if they're safe eh?"

"Darry, what the hell has gotten into you?" Dal asks.

"I'm late for work, I gotta go, be careful with 'em ight?" Dar asks, looking at the kids one more time, ruffling their hair, then going out the door.

Two ear piercing laughs, only children would do, catches everyone's attention. Everyone turns to the kitchen, to find TV, and Pepsi playing with the kids.

The twins feel a small pang in their heart, but they don't know why, Is it because Dar is right? No-- no way, right? Is it because Soda, and Steve are playing with my kid brother/sister? What they don't know, is they can feel something bad is going to happen. If only they had listened to Darry when he said to keep the kids in the house, and not go back to school.

--

"Stay safe, be close to each other, and make sure everyone can see you guys, ight?" AC tells the kids.

"Mkay bubba." Johnny responds.

"Kay Ace." Emi responds.

The boys give the kids one last hug, and a kiss on their heads before they leave.

--

In the middle of the school day, the teacher calls Johnny over, and Emi has no choice by to stay by herself.

The teacher puts Johnny right in front of her, so he won't see what is going on behind him, "Hey Johnny," Ms. Snickumbs starts, "I hope you're doing well." She continues, motioning for someone to enter the classroom.

--

Gabbie enters the classroom. She has shoulder length chocolate brown hair, eyes almost black eyes, and plump pink lips. She walks towards Emi casually, "Emi, come with me. Daryl is waiting for you outside." She says.

Emi is skeptical. She doesn't know this girl, but Darry is outside, so she goes with the girl.

They head into the office, and while the woman signs her out, "I'm her real mother." She says, showing them her birth certificate.

Mr. Jackson is out today, the assistant principal (who really dislikes greasers) doesn't give a hoot, "Yeah whatever." And excuses Emi.

--

At the end of the school day, the boys go pick up their kid siblings.

Johnny feels ashamed of himself for not keeping an eye on Emi, Will they send me off to a boys home? He couldn't help, but think of the worse when he saw the two. He slowly walks to the two, and goes straight into AC's arms, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I'm sorry." He keeps repeating.

The boys look at each other confused, then it clicks in AC's head before Dally's, "Where's Emi?" Dally asks, looking around the classroom, looking for his dirty blonde sister, blue eyed sister (Emi's hair changed naturally from blonde to dirty blonde over the four years).

Johnny starts sobbing harder into Aaron's chest, "I'm sorry! I-I-I..." Johnny feels like he couldn't breathe.

"Shhh, shhhhh Johnnycakes." AC soothes him, "Its ok. She shouldn't have gone far." Little do they know, she has.

Dally... Dally feels like he can't breathe. My kid sister... she-- no. He can't think badly of this situation. He can't! At least, not yet. He has to keep hope. He needs to think positively, "Let's look around the school-- n it's not your fault Johnnycakes." Dally tries to reassure the kid, ruffling his hair.

--

Eight at night, and the guys (except for Darry) haven't seen Emi all night.

Dally is trying to keep his cool, but its slowly slipping away; Two-Bit is being silent, along with Soda, and Ponyboy; Steve is lost in his own world, being worried for the girl he adores, she is also like his own daughter; AC is holding Johnny, while Johnny is sobbing silently into his chest, believing this is his fault for not having Emi with him...

So, to summaries the starting point of this story: 5 years has passed since Emi got kidnapped by Gabbie, who is her mother (and my wonderful friend; I love youuuus)  and some people from the gang lost hope for finding her (Two-Bit, Ponyboy [mostly he forgot about her], and Sodapop [surprise? Hehe]). Steve, Dallas, Ace, and Johnny still have hope she is alive, but that hope is slowly slipping away. Darry... whale you'll see that later in this book *laughs evilly* hehehe, but that's where I'm going to leave you guys here for now— hope you guys will like the first chapter, er technically the prologue!

Also before I leave, I got this idea from my favorite author when I was in eighth grade! @THEXOUTSIDERS who wrote The Mute Curtis Sister, and The Missing Curtis Sister (check those books out- I fell in love with them.
