Chapter 10: A Deal

Angeline POV

I woke up catching my breath, feeling extremely hot and strange. I could also kind of feel liquid heat gush through my undies...

Damn, it's all because of that dream!

Ryle all over me, touching me, kissing me in a way no one has ever done before. Damn it!

Seeing his and Xyza's scene yesterday both boiled my hatred for Xyza and my desire for him. Both a blessing and a curse.

Di ko alam kung sadyang bulag o bobo ba sila para gawin 'yun doon. Sa bawat classroom kasi sa university namin, mayroong maliit na glass window sa bawat door. With that, it was so easy to record them and even hear a bit from outside. Nasa teacher's table pa sila, goddamnit!

Kung hinahabol naman ni Ryle si Xyza, di na niya ata namalayan na nakasunod ako sakanya. Di ko inexpect ang mangyayari sakanila sa loob ng classroom na 'yun pero minabuti ko nang i-record. In that moment, I knew exactly how to use it... especially when it seems that they got back together.

Tangina talaga yang Xyza na yan!

I felt happy because of my dream but now that I remember what caused it, I quickly felt irritated at myself. I had pictured myself in place of Xyza... that it was my body that Ryle was kissing and touching.

Madali akong naligo at nag-ayos at umalis na agad ng bahay, first thing in the morning.

At this moment, I knew I'm getting exactly what I want.

Inutusan ko ang driver namin na dumiretso sa bahay nila Ryle. Pagkadating namin doon, halata ang bahagyang pagka-gulat ni Tita Astrid.

"Oh! Gie, it's you. Ang aga mo naman, hija." bati sa akin ni Tita.

"Sorry for the trouble, Tita... Good morning! Is Ryle there?" usisa ko.

May pakiramdam ako na medyo nagdadalawang-isip si Tita pero kumalma ang ekspresyon niya nang nakita si Ryle sa living room.

"Ryle, Angeline is here." medyo stern na pagkasabi ni Tita.

I have never seen her use a strict tone on Ryle... I wonder what happened...

Nagulat si Ryle sa presensya ko pero agad naman siyang dumalo sa akin.

"Oh, hi, Gie... do you want to go to the garden so we can talk there instead?" tanong niya sa akin.

"No problem." I said without hint of any humor.

Pagkadating namin sa garden, nagkakamot ng balikat si Ryle habang ako ay nakatitig lang sakanya. Seeing him this close and seeing first-hand what he's done yesterday makes my insides hot but I knew I had to compose my self properly.

"Look, Gie... Xyza and I got back together and she's kind of in my room... I hope you respect my decision to be with her again. I have high hopes on you because you are our friend, you know..." sabi niya ng diretsuhan.

What the fuck? Xyza in his room!?

I think I am going mad! Mas lalo ako nangigil. Di ko na mapigilan at kumawala na ako sa calm composure ba gusto kong i-maintain.

"Ryle, that's not what I'm here for. Actually, I know you guys got back together agan." sabi ko ng mariin.

Medyo nagulat siya at tila nanunutya ang kaniyang mga mata.

"What? How though?" he said in a curious tone.

Without any hesitations, I quickly opened my phone and showed him the video I took yesterday.

His reaction is hilarious!

Nanlaki talaga ang mata ni Ryle and I swear I have never seen him this angry. Di parin siya makapaniwala pero dahil siguro sa sobrang galit niya, kinuha niya ang aking phone at tinapon ito.

Di ko mapigilan at tinawanan ko lang ang naging reaksyon niya. He actually broke my phone!

"Why do you have that? Why did you record that, Angeline!?" tanong sa akin ni Ryle sa isang galit na tono.

"Well then... why did you do that there?" tanong ko pabalik na halatang sarcastic.

Tinignan niya ako ng madilim habang ako ay nakangisi pa.

"I've heard na yung girlfriend mo daw, bumabagsak sa mga subjects niya... baka di maka-graduate. Lolo nga niya yung president but it seems like he's not really tolerant of that. Ano pa kaya if kumalat to, Ryle? What do you think?" I said, taunting him.

"Everyone in the school, everyone in the world seeing how dirty you did her in that classroom... everyone seeing her body, Ryle!" I whispered maliciously in his ears.

Agad agad naman niya akong tinulak ng bahagya.

"I don't get what's your reason behind this, Angeline! What the fuck is this for!? What the fuck do you want!?" tanong niya sa akin, ngayon ay malakas na talaga ang boses niya.

"I want you, Ryle!!! As if if isn't obvious enough. At akala mo ba yung copy lang nun ay sa phone ko lang? I have made several copies of it on my laptop, USB's and even on CD's!" sigaw ko pabalik sakanya.

Napapikit si Ryle at nang binukas niya ang kaniyang mga mata, mas lalong nangibabaw ang galit at iritasyon niya.

"You know how much I love her! You'll only torture yourself if you continue this so please, please Angeline... stop this madness!" he pleaded.

"No! Fine, I can't have you the way she has you but I can make other people say so otherwise." mariin kong sabi.

"What the fuck do you mean?" sabi niya.

"Here's my deal... you tell everyone that we're together. Post it on social media and I'll do the same. Then after you graduate, you should go to Australia with me. You'll take your Master's there, away from here. The moment we go to Australia together, I'll destroy the remaining evidences I have piece by piece." I proposed.

Puno ng galit ang titig niya sa akin. Well, can't blame him because it is absolutely a good deal!

Pagkatapos ng ilang sandali, doon palang siya nagsalita.

"There's really no other way, huh? Fine."

Umirap ako sakanya at tinignan din siya ng masama pabalik.

"Oh, and I want it now. You said she's in your room, right? Break up with her now!" I demanded.

I want to be able to witness Xyza's face as she sees me entering Ryle's bedroom, with Ryle breaking up with her in front of me! How exciting!

However, my excitement was cut in an instant.

"You think it's that easy, Angeline!? Just give me time. Give me this day, at least. I'll do as you say after this day... so please, spare me just this once." Ryle said in a low voice, still looking at me with the same brooding eyes.
