" ebony I didn't know we were having someone over today." My mom says as she looks River up and down in a motherly way.

" hey I'm Ebony's boyfriend...oh shit uh my name is River too." He says sounding flustered
I hit him in the arm more or else punched him.

" what the hell was that for" my mom looks at him disapprovingly while his was staring at me.

" Don't Swear Dude.!"

" oh shittlesticks I'm sorry." He says and I give him a playful smile in return.

" shittlesticks?" I ask laughing

" sorrrryyy I'm not good at making up substitutional bad words up ok I much rather say shit but hey I'm not for you so be blessed that I'm not."

"I have been blessed by my boyfriend now huh well isn't that great." I say sarcasticly and I see my mom smiling over our playful banter.

" well isn't this cute." My mom says

" well we should probably start eating now anyhow. Sweetie would you go get the paper plates." I walk over to the counter tope and I heap three paper plates. As you can see I really do t like to do dishes so this is a good alternative for me. I feel rivers presence behind me and he wraps his arms around me from my back.

He leans his head into the crook of my should and inhaled but my mom gave an awkward cough so he chuckled and separated himself from me. She turns back around tending o the diner. He moves my hair to the side and lightly kisses my neck. " this is where my mark will be right here .....for everyone to see." 

" listen I'm not sure if I'm ready to be marked it's not like it's going to feel great to have my skin ripped open by your teeth.

" but we are mates and it will feel really good ...I can make you feel really good."  He is seriously going for it with the innuendos. I can't complain to much because I blush.

" listen just let's not talk about grips right now. K?" I ask

" we will have to talk about again just not i front of your mom."

Now at the dinner table.....
" so how was school?."  My mom asked
" it was good."

" learn anything new?"

" yea I just forget right now you now it's like once I get home my memory goes with it hahah." I see a small glare from her she does clearly not like hearing that I have forgotten what I have learned in school today. Oh well I'm tired and I don't feel like explaining everything I have learned today and honestly I have been feeling drained especially emotionally but I'm assuming it's just because I'm a teen or whatever.

"Oh ok".....I hear her sigh " so what. About you river how was school"

" it was good because I've gotten to spend it with Ebony so she has been making me a better student I don't miss nearly as much school." Aw I making him a better person? That's so great if I am I did not realize I have that much of a positive effect in his school life. but seriously my mom only asked how his day was and he gave her a super long answer I let out an inaudible chuckle that only I can hear.

I feel a buzzing vibration on the take and look to see his phone light up with a message. He quickly snatches the phone and he puts it in his pocket after looking at who it is and returns to eating. I think it was his mom because he like to ignore his mom for some reason when he is with me. I can tell that he looks angry about something.

I will remind myself after dinner is over to ask him about this suddenly anger wave that is coming from him. He catches me looking at him and he looks back at me and all his anger vanishes upon seeing my violet eyes my heart melts staring into his blue ones that I have come to love and adore so much.
