I peak an eye open to see my mom standing over me
" what time is it" I ask stretching in bed
" it's 6:40 your alarm went off about ten minutes ago but I didn't hear you moving around so I came up to check on you and you were sleeping.Now get dressed so your not late for the bus."
"Ok ok I'll get dressed"
I get out of bed and yawn going to my closet and picking out shorts and a flowy top because its going to be hot today about 90 degrees so I dress for the weather. I hum Sad by X while getting dressed. I decide on wearing my fake black burkinstocks and call it a day grabbing my phone and earbuds. As I walk down stairs I stub my toe on the last step. Stupid freaking step I look down to see its swelling slightly but it doesn't look to bad thankfully.
"Mom what smells so good"
" oh I made cinnamon coffee muffins . Oh shit I'm running late, I'll see you when I get home make sure to text me when you get home bye sweetie."
She leaves and shuts the door I can hear the car start from outside. Man do those muffins smell good. I grab one off of the plate and take a bite and morning at the taste these are heaven. I really don't know how some girls can only eat salads because food is the fucking shit! I eat one more looking at my phone it's 7:25. Crap I got to go before I miss the bus. Screw it I grab another muffin and head out.

The bus arrives at the school and I grab my book bag and get off heading into the school. I make my way to my locker and unload my my folders and pencils and grab my history book. I went to grab my highlighter but someone slammed my locker shut. What the hell?! Shocked I look up to find a very angry but hot River. " where the hell were you?" he asks
" what are you talking about" i ask confused because I have no idea what he's talking about seriously
" you know damn well what I'm talking about. I'm talking about me picking you up this morning and you not being there. That's what I'm talking about" he said his eyes
showing anger and irritation.
Oh crap I forgot all about that my bad. Ooppsss. He was supposed to be driving me to school today how did I forget that? Oh well wouldn't have went with him anyways and to be completely honest the guy is supper out there if ya know what I mean.
" sorry I forgot. I also think that we shouldn't be seeing each other outside of school."
" and why the hell is that I've done nothing but try to go slow with you. You are my mate and we will be spending everyday together." He says angrily
" sorry but not happening" why does he keep saying mate it's weird
He grabs me and pulls me into a storage closet and kisses me but pulls away quickly
" listen I get you don't know what's going on between us but you will soon and I'll explain after school. Your mine for the rest of ever as I am yours I love you and only you." His phone rings and he answers it and I could of swore I heard someone call him alpha. This guy is just a bunch of mystery's waiting to be unfolded.

The first period passes by pretty quickly. I find Amanda and walk with her to gym.
" hey so you and River huh?" She asks
"What about him"
"You guys are like together right "
" um not really" i say
" but I heard him say that you guys are mates do you no how many girls are jealous of you right now. " she asks with a bit of jealousness laced in her voice
