Shit On A Stick

I wake up the next morning under warms blankets with a hot arm draped over me. I try to be gentle and remove his arm from me so I can go to the bathroom. instead of him letting me go he pulls me so now that I'm on top of him with my face buried in his chest. I mean I wouldn't be complaining if I didn't need to get ready for the first day.i make grunting noises to hopefully get out of his grasp. He mumbles something inaudible.
That's it I need to get out of bed so that leaves me no choice.

" wakey pakey mr bakey." I say kinda loud

" shhh ebony.... River needs his sleep ok and you need to stay in bed ok now go back to sleep." He says sound a bit like a groggy baby

" no river that's enough, time to get up I have to get ready who are you kidding you have to get up to. It would be so embarrassing to show up late to class. Now Get Up!" I say loudly feeling bad a little for waking him up but bowing it's necessary.
"
ok ok geese woman lay off. Can you blame a guy for wanting to sleep with his hot ass mate?" He says with one eye cracked open. I laugh and he then decides to awake fully from his slumber. He pulls me down quickly puckering his lips for a kiss and who would I be to say no to such tempting luscious lips. I peck him once, twice, then for a final third time and pull back quickly. He pouts with a baby face .

" let's gooooooo." I say

" ok ok hand me my boxers." He says and I throw them at him

" how do I look?" I ask running my hands over my kakis and pink sweater.

" too hot." I roll my eyes at this comment.

" thank you you look nice too we are matching both in sweaters and in kakis" I say

" ya but I'd never wear pink" he says with sureness

" what if I asked you to?" I asked innocently batting my eyes at him
He is pale as a ghost " I i I guess I would you know I would do anything for you." He said  and I laugh at how freaked out he is pink is just a color.

" I'm messing with you silly." I say and push his arm which ends up zapping him

" ow shit, we really need to get you to learn how to control these powers" shaking his
head at me and I nod in  agreement

First Period Witching 101

I look down at my phone to see that I am 4 minutes late to my class on my first day. How embarrassing. I shake my head at annoyance in myself. As I walk down the hallway I notice that the door to my class is closed. I stop and peek inside the class to see Baku 50 students. I swallow my nerves and raise my hand and knock on the door. Don't be nervous Ebony don't be nervous , act cool and collected, and hold your head up high. The more I say to myself the more relaxed I feel. A middle aged man about 40 or so with brownish hair and beautiful green eyes opens the door. He smiles at me and hold out his hand.

" I see you must be Miss. Winters?" He asks while shaking my hand

" and you would be correct I'm sorry for being late I got a bit held up with things."

" no problem come have seat with the rest of us." He waves his hand to the class.
There are 5 rows of students and in the middle I see a free seat between an attractive guy and a small blonde girl. I make my way over but I notice everyone and I mean everyone has there eyes on me. I would like to say I'm imagining it but I'm afraid not. My face heats up with embarrassment. I'm the new girl again. As I sit down I can feel the stares on me. I just keep my head down at my notebook nitpicking the corner of the pages pretending to be preoccupied with the plastic edge.

" Ebony would you like to introduce yourself?" He asks but it wasn't really a question I shakily get up with a nod

" uh hi my name is ebony winters and I just moved from California I'm 16 and I'm excited to be here." Ha if only I was
I hear murmurs about my name but I can only pick out bits and pieces of each statement.

He nods his head " thank you and I hope you enjoy my class. Ok everyone please grab a pencil and your notes for today.Ebony please copy the notes off of someone from this class please."

I turn my head to the boy next to me he has almost black hair and warm chocolate brown eyes. " hey um can I please borrow your notes? I would really appreciate it I can just take a picture then hand it back."
He turns to me and looks me up and down. The guy is really attractive I'll give him that but I don't think that was very appropriate.

" sure thing." He says with a low voice he hands me the notebook and grazes my hand while doing so.

" ok that was it for today class you are all excused have a good day everyone." The teacher lets us all leave at that. As I get up and walk toward the stairs down I hear someone yell my name.

" Ebony shit wait up." I look to see the guy sitting next to me walking towards me
He smiles at me when he finally does. " hey I was curious if you need a study partner or anything?"

" no not right now but thanks!,  but if I do I'll be sure to ask you." I say hopefully sounding like a kind no

" ok anytime." He winks at me then walks away

I will definitely not be doing that anytime soon River would kill me. Just thinking about home makes my heart get all warm and fuzzy. I reach for my phone in my back pocket and pull it out.

I turn it on and I see River has texted me "hey baby how did your first class go.... mine is weird there is this one girl with a baby dolls head on a necklace with black eyes😰 and no hair on it". As I read his text it almost made me laugh.

I text back how did you not laugh like I would feel bad for it thought but I would have laughed😂🤔
I put my phone back in my pocket and head to my next class. Hopefully it's bad good as the last one.
