"We can't do it like that," Genesio Barbuto—or also known as Genesi—disagrees with Dominik. "If it's at the port, we'll be seen before Theodore gets there."
Genesio is a muscular man in his forties, a devastatingly chiseled face sporting a scruffy beard on his square jawline and around his thin, dark brown hair and striking blue eyes. He's dressed in a silver-grey blazer over a black shirt and silver-grey blazers finished off with black dress shoes. A brown leather watch visible on his left wrist whenever his arm moves cause the sleeves to roll up. Genesio is a good two inches taller than Donovan and Donovan is over six feet tall.
The underboss's lips quirk downward at Dominik's blue-green eyes gazing at him blankly. "What do you suggest then?" Frustration underlying his voice.
"Genesi is right, Nik," Quinn intones. "We need to try a different approach. Luring them into a warehouse might not even work. We need to be bolder, get them right when they're out in the open."
"How about we put Neil and Frank here above us," Tesauro La Fazia drags his calloused finger across the map. The Capo has dark blonde hair styled in a short quiff and trimmed sides, his arched eyebrows lower down to cast a shadow over his dark blue eyes. Like Genesio, he is fairly muscular, around the same height as Donovan, and beard across his strong jaw. He's dressed in a simple black shirt tucked under his jeans.
"I'll be in this warehouse," Tesauro continues tapping the third box out of the five. "Genesi could round up his men to make sure no cops are around. Nik can stay hidden over here," His finger touches the port's dry storage warehouse. "he'll take them from behind, keep the fucker cornered on every side."
"Okay, let's say we do that," Liberio Scenna, another Capo argues. "What will we do if they have back up? Or if it's a trap to have us all in one spot or have Donovan alone and unprotected?"
Liberio—nicknamed Aquila (Eagle)—is one of Donovan's three Capos. Like Tesauro, he's in his thirties; light brown, messy hair with brown eyes with naturally scowling browns that makes him appear angry. Adorning a dark blazer over his white shirt tightened around his well-built torso; thick stubble growing out of his round jaw and sharp lips.
Donovan scowls at Liberio, "Do I look like a cordado (coward) to you?
The shorter man shakes his head, broad shoulders tensing. "No, Don. I'm just worried-"
"Worried? Do you want to hold my hand too? My son is missing and you're more concerned about protecting me? Sei fottutamente stupido? (Are you fucking stupid?)" Donovan glares, his Italian accent is thicker, heavily drawled.
Liberio counters, "Se sei morto, chi ti resterà per trovarlo? Conosci Keli meglio di tutti noi. (If you're dead who will be left to find him? You know Keli better than any of us.)" His cadence is much smoother and easier to understand than Donovan's. Although, I think it has to do with Liberio having been born in the US rather than Italy like Donovan
"There's no need to snap, Donovan," Dominik assures the man as Quinn seems lost in thought, disregarding the minor dispute. "We're all desperate."
"Verzweifelt zu sterben (Desperate to die)," Frank murmurs earning a deadpan expression from Dominik at his comment. "You're all fussing over something so simple." Frank scowls, arms crossed over his toned chest. Donovan heaves a deep sigh rubbing his tired face.
I give my father a small glimpse, noting he seems grumpier than usual. "Frank and I don't need to be in the same spot. I can cover here," I place my finger to past the dry storage warehouse to the edge of the outer storage. "Dominik can be here," I move to the container terminal where Frank and I were supposed to be on except beside a large outer storage area. "and Frank will be on the next container. That way he'll have a wide field of vision and protect Donovan or spot anyone else in hiding."
