Nightmare Ranch | An Alastor x Reader Lemon Series

Morning Coffee

Alastor came back the next morning as I was sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee in my hand. A pickup truck followed his town car, and three rather large demons stepped out of it's cab. 

"Good morning, my dear." Alastor gave me his signature smile as he walked up to me. I nodded, eyeing the three newcomers.

"Meet your new security team." Alastor said with a wave of his hand. Security team? I narrowed my eyes and sipped my coffee, my still asleep brain trying to make sense of this. 

"Alastor," I said, motioning towards the door, "Can I talk to you for a moment?" Alastor followed me inside to my small kitchen. Turning to face him, I set my coffee mug on the counter. 

"I appreciate your help," I sighed, "But the truth is I can't afford a security team. That's why it's just me here." Alastor only had to take a couple of steps before he was standing in front of me. He stood a head taller than me, forcing me to look up to meet his gaze. 

"Don't worry about them," Alastor said softly, "I've taken care of it." I know he was trying to be nice, but for some reason that irradiated me.

"I am more than capable of taking care of my ranch." I stated flatly. Chuckling, Alastor reached out and took my hand. I tried to pull it away, but he held on.

"I know you are," He replied, "I'm just trying to help."

Sighing, I said, "I know. I'm just not used to people offering me help. There are always strings attached." Then I looked at him pointedly, "There are no strings attached, right?"

Alastor grinned wickedly at me, "Only one." Then he pulled me close to him, my chest pressed against his. His lips came down on mine, catching me by surprise. I was surprised, but in a good way. It had been forever since a man had kissed me, and I had almost forgotten how it felt. I leaned into the kiss, feeling his tongue slide along my bottom lip before delving inside my mouth. My tongue intertwined with his, enjoying the taste of him. Too soon though, he pulled back, but still kept me close to him. 

"That was..." My words failed me. 

Smiling, he finished, "Amazing. That was amazing."
