she's so beautiful, just like her mom.

PAINTBRUSH'S POV

its been a few hours since lightbulb gave birth. she was asleep. she must've been exhausted, well of course she was, she brought our beautiful baby girl into this world. 

I was sitting on a chair right next to the bed, holding her hand lightly as she slept. 

Luna was asleep next to her, in a basinet. she is so beautiful, she had lightbulbs adorable little mouth. 

the baby rolled over a little and made a few little noises, she woke lightbulb. that was so precious, the slightest noise awoke both of my angels. 

lightbulb yawned softly and looked at me with bright eyes. 

"hey beautiful." I said as I kissed lightbulb's forehead. 

lightbulb smiled as the nurse came in.

"good morning lightbulb, congratulations on your new baby. have the adorable parents decided the name yet?" the nurse said with a welcoming smile.

lightbulb and I looked at each other, then looked back at the nurse. 

"Luna" we unexpectedly said at the same time. we both paused and then chucked softly. 

"that's a perfect name! you two will make wonderful parents, I wish you all the best!"

"thank you." I said to the nurse as she asked lightbulb if she needed anything else.

"thats ok, thanks so much. for everything." lightbulb said to the nurse. 

"no need honey" the nurse smiled as she picked up Luna and asked if I wanted to hold her.

I nodded and the nurse lightly put her in my arms. 

I looked down with my most sincere smile. Luna cooed and started sucking on her fist, closing her eyes.

"she's so beautiful, just like her mom." I said as I looked up at lightbulb and kissed her hand gently.
