PAINTBRUSH'S POV:

it's been a few weeks since we found out lightbulb was pregnant, and honestly, it's been the happiest time of my life. I was so stoked with the whole situation. I love her so much, I'm happy for the both of us.

we've been to her checkups so she's all caught up, and the despite the baby not being that big, everything looks okay, which is great, I will make sure to always keep lightbulb happy, because that's all she deserves, she's perfect.

~later at home~

Lightbulb was napping on the couch and I was packing her hospital bag, then I heard the front door open quietly.

it was TestTube and Fan.

they stepped in quietly and walked over to me.

"hi paintbrush! how's lightbulb?" said TestTube.

the both of them knew about the big news, because of course lightbulb couldn't hold in her excitement, so she told TT, and then TestTube told Fan.

"she's doing okay." I replied with a smile.

"woah, are you packing her bag? already? it hasn't even been a month." Fan exclaimed.

"I know, it's really early, It's just that, we can't be too sure about anything and I want to be prepared, even if this is almost 8 months early." I said to Fan as I was almost finished packing.

"Well, wheres lightbulb?" TT asked.

"oh, she's on the couch. she's asleep." I said as I got up and put the packed bag into the closet.

TestTube walked over to the couch that lightbulb was on, and sat beside her. smiling while looking down at her.

Fan and I stood at the side watching. I smiled at the sight of lightbulb, sleeping so peacefully...

lightbulb's eyes were opening slightly. she moved over a little.

"hm?......oh, TESTUBE!!!!" Lightbulb said with excitement as she sprung up and hugged TestTube.

Fan and I smiled.

TestTube hugged lightbulb back and asked how she was.

"I'm good, just been pretty tired lately. I've been taking so many naps during the day, so I'm so awake at night aha." Lightbulb explains.

"Fan and I just came over to see if you guys wanna go out? Just like old times again. :P" TestTube looked over to me and asked.

"uh, I don't know..." I said, uneasy.

"Oh c'mon Painty, we could use a night out! Please!?" Lightbulb said to me, I couldn't resist her cute eyes.

"Ok ok fine. let's go."

"yess! we'll have a blast!" Fan says as TestTube and him wait at the front door.

Lightbulb got off the couch and grabbed a bottle of water.

"need anything baby?" I asked Lightbulb.

"no my love, I'm fine." Lightbulb said as she kissed my cheek and walked to the door.

I blushed, s l i g h t l y. ;) and walked over to the others.

"yay! let's go!" Lightbulb said as I took her hand. we all walked out the door and started walking to the way of the mall.

*NOBODY'S POV*

On the way to the mall we saw....

Knife, ??

he was leaning on the wall of some corner store. he was smoking.

"oh...great.." TestTube mumbles under her breath.

"the fuck is he doing here?!" Paintbrush says.

"don't interfere Paintbrush.." Fan says trying to stop Paintbrush from walking up to knife.

knife spotted us and walked closer instead.

"drop that cigarette, dumbass." Paintbrush says to knife as they roll up the sleeves on their shirt.

"it's mine, fuck off." knife replies.

Paintbrush scoffs

"I don't care, you can't smoke here." Paintbrush says.

"you guys got in the way of me. don't tell me where I can't do things!!" Knife replied.

Paintbrush exhaled deeply. then surprisingly grabbed knife by the collar of his shirt.

"listen, I said don't smoke here and I'm saying it for a reason. don't act up, especially not to me, alright?" Paintbrush said as they threw knife up against the brick wall.

"okay okay, just let me go!!" Knife replies.

Paintbrush let go of his collar roughly, then gave him a chipper look.

Paintbrush walked back to Lightbulb, took their hand in their own and the group continued walking to the mall.

Knife scoffs then rolls his eyes.

"Fuck paintbrush. thinking they're better than me. I'm gonna prove them wrong,, one day..just watch." Knife said to himself.
