the worst night of my life

Lightbulbs POV:

The votes were tallied up and I couldn't believe it...
Paintbrush was eliminated.

I felt my heart start to beat faster as I watched Painty get up from their seat and walk over to the front of the room. I stopped them before they could walk into the portal. I tapped their shoulder and Paintbrush turned around.

"Hey, if you're ever feeling like you're at the bottom of the ocean, just look at this crab because...that's where he lived." I said as I let Baxter crawl into Painty's hands.

"I gotchu." Painty said as they winked and put up a finger gun.

I did the same and Paintbrush and I looked at each other for a second before they turned back around to walk into the portal.

Paintbrush stood right in front of the portal. Right before stepping in, they looked back at me one last time. Test Tube and Fan walked up to me to watch Paintbrush take their leave. Painty smiled at us and then walked into the portal.

I shed a tear as soon as Painty was gone. I slightly leaned my head on Test Tube and she put her arm around me...

~After The Elimination~

I was leaning on a tree watching the sun set, just caught up in my thoughts.

I was thinking of how I thought Paintbrush and I would make it into the finals together..

About how much Painty has changed me over the season.

I know Paintbrush has some kind of temper issues, but I've seen their good side, calm side. And let me tell you, Painty smiling is the most heartfelt sight you'd ever see. At least, it was to me.

Maybe I felt more attracted to Paintbrush than I thought... in a sensual way. They're so cute when they get all heated, really fun to talk to, and we've had amazing memories together. And the worst part is, I never got the time to tell Painty how I truly feel.

this really was the worst night of my life.
