Slowly, For Sure

You were greeted by a saddened Sebastian in the garden. You watched him carefully, trying to get the courage to ask why he was so down.

The butler simply grabbed the bouquet, smiled at you, and went inside the manor.

After Sebastian entered the manor, you followed and went to the room you have been staying in. You set the rose on your bed; not knowing what to do anymore.

A quiet knock disturbed your thought and a shy-looking Ciel appeared through the doorway.

"I-I hope I have not disturbed you, Lady (y/n). I was wondering if-" he stopped talking as he took notice of the black rose.

"Did Sebastian . . . Give that to you?" The young Earl asked.

You smiled, smelled it once again and hummed "Mhmm . . ."

You didn't notice the boy's jealous face as he closed the door after saying something to vague for you to hear.

-

As dinner approached, the maid greeted you and helped you find something else to wear. Something for the evening. Something sophisticated. Something a young lady would wear, not a 'child' of your age.

You walked to dinner, recalling how Sebastian ignored you and how Ciel left you without a word.

You hated this turn of events. You were slightly depressed, but content before Ciel Phantomhive found you. Then he took you in and things were great. But now you feel lonelier than ever.

You wanted Lillian to be here. Your ladies maid always knew how to comfort you. But she was organizing the rebuilding of your manor. You figured that's more important than your feelings.

You ate daintily and lady-like; not knowing you were causing great pain to Sebastian. He admired how sophisticated you were, unlike most ladies your age. But you tried hard to ignore him.

You made little conversation. When Ciel asked things about your manor you replied with "I never really paid attention." When Ciel asked what your hobbies were, you simply said "I do what is organized for me." You didn't want to talk to Ciel right now. You felt that if you looked into his eyes you'd feel saddened and lonelier. You avoided Sebastian, not knowing how to react to him not giving you attention.

Later in the evening the doorbell rang and you hoped it was Lillian. She has finally come to get you.

Sebastian opened the door and said humbly "Lady Elizabeth, please do come in."

You studied every step the girl took. You studied her blonde hair, her emerald eyes that seemed to shimmer, and her girly pink and white dress.

You felt you had to compete with her. Even if she was just a cousin of the Earl, you felt you had to battle her for love.

-

You slowly walked to your room, not wanting to mess with the girl. You were stopped by Ciel calling your name.

You came back and sat in the parlor. You expected to be chewed out, but instead Ciel introduced you to his fiancé, Lizzie.

You were able to go to your room after Ciel left with Lizzie to go to a ball. You were invited to come as well, but preferred to stay at the manor and make a few calls.

You entered your room and sat on your bed. You were tired. You took off your dress and was about to take off your corset when Sebastian walked in.

You felt awkward, but Sebastian came close to you as you stood up, getting as close to his height as possible.

"I am sorry, Lady (y/n). I wasn't giving you the attention you deserve at a time like this. He hugged your semi naked body and you hugged back, not knowing why this was happening.

Sebastian pulled apart slightly, to look into your (e/c) eyes. He smiled and took down your (h/l) (h/c) hair. You smiled back, slowly falling in love.

Sebastian's face was getting closer. You wouldn't have realized this is if weren't for his heavy breath on your face. You closed your eyes as you felt Sebastian's soft, gentle lips against your small, plump ones. He hugged you tighter, increasing the intensity of the kiss.

You didn't care how wrong it was for him to see you without your dress, all you knew was that you were slowly falling in love.

Slowly, for sure.
