Hello all of my wonderful readers, I am glad that this book is doing fairly well and finally coming to an end. Some of you might think this is a bad thing, the end, but not me! I am happy that it will finally be finished so I can write more...of a different book.

I dedicate this chapter to DKKelly!

NaLu is too much for words to describe...

Natsu's POV

Back to back we stood, the minute Luce, Happy and I stepped into Phantom Shadow we were instantly surrounded by guild members. Twenty, thirty, maybe even fifty members all expecting our arrival. They all starred at us like we were the lowest vermin, reading our magic I lit my fists aflame and out of the corner of my eyes I saw Lucy do the same with her water.

"Natsu, jump." I heard Lucy whisper in my ear, knowing only I could hear her.

I did as I was told and jumped up to the high ceiling above. I grabbed onto a beam as observed Lucy's plan, she started to spin and sent a huge wave of water flooding the entire floor, all the guild members were thrown and crashed into the walls. I could only gape at her glorifying moment. When the waters subsided I hopped down, landing next to her.

"Luce, that was amazing!"

"Really? I kinda just...did it." She shrugged.

"No way, that was awesome!" I smiled.

She nodded, face a bit red.

"We have to get to the machine, where is it?" She reminded me.

"If my memory is correct..."

"We're doomed." She interrupted my thinking process.

"What do you mean by that?!"

"If all Magnolia has to rely on your memory we might as well be dead now!" She pleaded.

"For your information, I do remember where the machine is!" I corrected her.

Not looking too convinced she pushed me forward.

"Well get that memory turning."

I thought back to when we had escaped, Erza had lead us threw many tunnels under the guild itself. And we came out of a door on the side of the building. That was where we needed to go.

"Got it! Back outside." I started to march for the door.

Lucy just stood there not believing what she was hearing.

"What?"

"If we were going to go outside again, then why on earth did we come threw the front door?!" She shouted.

"Well I forgot!"

"Like I said, you and your memory..." Her sentence trailed off, but followed me back out the door.

We entered the same door that we had exited from the first time, all these places made my heart race and head pound. We were just here desperate to escape, but now I was going back in, on purpose. This was already a place in my life that I knew I wouldn't just happen to forget, but this memory of all the pain, screams, crushed dreams and loss of hope now filled that place in my heart. It was my fault that this was happening. I had taken them when we were forbidden and knew it was wrong, I had disobeyed Master on a direct command, I had the idea of coming in the first place, I had given them exactly what they wanted, I had brought these dragon on our city. I knew it was all my fault and completely blamed myself for it.

"Natsu?" Lucy noticed my saddened figure.

"Its my fault." I turned to her, stopping the pace we were running.

"What are you saying?"

"I said its my fault for all this." Waving my hands in the air, Lucy took a step back frightened by my sudden outburst.

"Natsu, yes you did go to on the mission. But what does it matter? They would have found another way to get you here anyway, you acted rashly, but it was what you thought was right. You were angry and wanted to take Wend back, I can understand that, everyone can and no one is blaming you except you. If you try hard enough to fix it now, then whats in the past is the past." She placed a soft, gentle hand on my cheek.

Looking into her beautiful brown eyes the words sunk in, she was right, I had to stop worrying about to and get my head in the game for the present. Taking her hand from my face I held it tight.

"Thanks Luce, now lets go destroy that machine."

"Wait...we aren't destroying anything. Did you listen to any of what Levy said?" She asked.

"Not really, but who cares, I know that you know and will do it right." She just rolled her eyes.

"Yes, now lets go. But were aren't going to destroy anything."

"What? Why not?" I was very saddened by this.

"What do you mean why? No destruction!" She pointed a finger.

I hung my head in disappointment, in a funny way I had fun demolishing things.

"Whatever, now lets get out of here." I took her hand in mine and ran out of the circular room and threw a door on the far side. This lead to the endless tunnels of the guild dungeons, where we were kept for what seemed like forever.
