Acer was up on his paws when he heard three swift barks coming from no other than Bronx. Him and his mate Lucky running around barking swiftly only meaning one thing... someone really bad happened.
The male nudged Lyla trying to wake her up. "Lyla.. Lyla! Damn it Lyla! Wake up!" He began to nudge her harder until she groaned in annoyance and woke up flashing her beautiful orbs back at his. "We have to go.. something is happening. The bark alarm was sounded!" Her eyes widened in fear as she was quick to her paws and shot off in the direction of where pack stayed. Everyone's eyes filled with relief upon seeing Acer and Lyla walk in. Zuma came and wrapped her neck around her son. She was happy to see her pup safe. "Father what's happening?" Acer snapped swiftly at his father, Zeus, who snapped back at his pup in disapproval of his actions, but quickly brushed it off as they have worse things to worry about. "The humans are opening the vault. The storms from last night took too much damage on the doors. They have to open them or we will die from lack of unstable oxygen." He explained.
Acers eyes widened in fear of the air on the top side being toxic. "What if the air is toxic! We all will die anyway!" He snarled in anger at his father that he was just going to let this happen. "There's nothing we can do! It's a risk we have to take son!" He snapped back at the juvenile male who still had so much to learn. Acer quickly closed his muzzle as he didn't want to cause a fight that was clearly not needed at the moment. He trotted over to Raven and picked Luna up by her scruff out of Ravens mouth. "Be careful with our pup Acer." She warmed as she licked the pup. He nodded in understanding. As they all ventured toward the vault door humans lined up more than ready to leave the musky vault they called home for so long. "Here we go." He inhaled a deep breath as they all piled into the metal rusty elevator that brought them below ground in the first place. Not everyone would fit in one load in fact, Acer and Luna were the only two dogs who fit on the elevator for this round. As the humans gave the okay they felt the ground below them give way as they ventured up toward the light. As they all braced for the best outcome.

Down below everyone paced anxiously. Raven was the most worried as her pup and baby daddy were up there. Could be dead. The elevator came back down and they all sighed in relief as there was no blood or bones. That was a very good sign.
As they last of them step on board the rickety elevator they all prepared themselves for what they were about to witness.
Raven was the first to see through the blinded light of the sun. Oh how she had missed the sun so very much. She missed being able to lay in the tall grasses and just soak it all in. She gasped at what she saw. The world was dull. The ground was brown not a spec of grass was in sight. She looked to see bare trees they blew slightly in the wind. She felt as if her eyes were deceiving her. She finally let her eyes gaze to her pup seeing her safe and pouncing on a small pebble below Acer's paws as his eyes were locked on a particular female. Raven smiles softly at the young love. She remembered how lustful and great it was then it became dreadful, but then good again. She wanted Acer to enjoy his time in the young love so she slightly nudged him and pointed her about toward the female. He smiled and nodded his head trotting off toward her.
Raven sighed in content happy to be on the ground scared of what was to happen next, but one thing was for sure. They were all in some deep shit for what was to happen next.
