Morning Routine

Baz sleepily opens his eyes, and looks over at Simon, who's still dead asleep. Many people look peaceful and cute when they're asleep. But with Simon, not so much. He lays there, face scrunched up like he's trying to focus and mouth wide open drooling onto his double chin. Baz would never wish for anything else, he loves this morning routine.
He gets out of bed, and steps out into his room that's not truly his. He's been staying with Simon and Penny. Simon and him had decided to live separately, but that doesn't keep him from staying there every chance he gets. All that is the only reason the room is so messy. There's clothes and trash, etc. laying all over the floor, and Baz chuckles imagining how different the room would look if he was there all the time.
After successfully navigating his way out of Simon's room, he greeted Penny in the kitchen, who was already drinking her morning tea. (He only stepped on one thing that hurt while leaving Simons room, a stray pen laying around. That's impressive compared to the three things he stepped on the previous night). Baz and Penny chat about the news, which is on in the background, as Baz makes him self black tea, and Simon overly sweetened coffee. (Simon's taken a liking to everything American after Agatha visited and showed him some American tv shows and movies. One of which, if Baz remembers correctly, was called Gilmore Girls, among others. It was the first time she visited since the incident). The two ex enemies sit down and drink their tea together. They're good friends now, and love having their deep morning conversations while they await Simon waking up.
In not too long, dreary Simon steps out of his room, rubbing his eyes. Baz can't help but smile as he looks at his beautiful boy. He's wearing grey sweat pants and an oversized Harvard t-shirt (that American stuff again!), and fluffy socks Penny got him for Christmas. His hair hung loosely in his face, some curls squished from him laying on them all night. He sits down, and joins the conversation. Penny is the first to get up, excusing herself as she had to go get ready to run some errands.
"I've gotta go take a shower," Simon tells Baz, yawning despite having been up for about an hour now.
"I'll join you," Baz says, making them both laugh even though they both know he's not joking.
So they take a shower together and once they're done they both get ready. Simon throws on jeans and a grey t-shirt, while Baz sighs at his suitcase, still wearing a towel. (Around his waist AND hair, mind you). (And yes, he brings a whole suitcase every time he sleeps over).
"Having an issue over there, Basilton?" Simon asks, smirking.
"What do I wear?!" Baz exclaims, sounding genuinely distressed. "I mean I'm thinking black jeans, but also maybe some sweatpants, 'cuz those can look really fashionable in some situations."
"Jeans," Simon answers, without hesitation.
Once Baz finally decides on an outfit, Simon loving glances at him. He's wearing a white button up and black ripped jeans (damn, Simon loves those jeans), and his hair is slicked back elegantly. The cute couple steps out of Simons room, ready to take on the world. But quickly, they realize Penny's already left and without her, and even with her for that matter, they don't have much to do. So, they simply look at each other and know what they'll do. They both race back into Simons room and change into their pajamas once again, then jump onto the couch, and turn on Netflix. They snuggle on the couch and watch tv for the rest of the day.
(This all happens every weekend, by the way.)
