Apollo watched out of the car window as the scenery went by, gone in what felt like a flash. His mind was racing. He didn't want this to end, but knew that it had to. He rarely ever went out as it was, dates were definitely an unheard of thing for him. He had been on a few before(even if it were a VERY small amount, he had been with partners before, believe it or not), but none could ever compare or have a special place with him like tonight did. It wasn't even just the fact that he was with Klavier Gavin, he had obviously made it clear that the man was so much more than his name. He was just a great person to be around.

"Apollo!"

Apollo broke from his trance to see the blonde man staring at him with a grin. "What were you thinking about?" He joked. "You seemed really... involved in whatever it was."

"Nothing. I was just watching the scenery. It's nice." Apollo lied. He could've been flirty and replied with a 'You' or something of the sort because it was true, but Apollo couldn't flirt to save his life. So, he stuck with the awkward lie.

"You know, I've only just gotten to know you, and I can already see that you're a bad liar."

Apollo felt his cheeks heat with embarrassment. He was glad that the car was dark, so that Klavier couldn't see. He didn't say anything and just turned back to the window.

Klavier reached out, and put a hand firmly on the brunette man's shoulder. "I was joking. But hey, I have something to ask you."

Klavier turned back to meet the man's eye yet again. "Yeah? Ask away."

"I have a gig, would you like to come?"

"Yeah, of course. When is it?"

"Tomorrow. We're actually headed to the airport after we drop you off."

Apollo considered it for a moment. He didn't know whether he should or not. He didn't know why, but he was having some doubts. He didn't know how his mother would feel, maybe he could come up with a lie but he would have to be quick about it. The more he thought about it, the more it stressed him out. "I... uh. I have to be home. I have to work. I have to nurse my lip. You know. All of that."

Klavier glared at him. "I'm the one that got your lip busted in the first place, shouldn't I be the one to help you nurse it?" The smirk was back on his face.

"Not your fault. You know that. And I'll be fine. Trust me." He smiled back, pretty sure that he looked like an idiot.

"Alright. If you say so." Then he turned away again, staring out of his own window.

Apollo thought for a few moments. Sure, he would have to make something up to tell his mother, but in the long run, did it really matter? He couldn't use that as an excuse, otherwise he wouldn't do anything with Klavier. And as for work, he could afford to call out for one day. "I'll go." He said suddenly.

"Are you sure you want to? It won't hurt my feelings if you don't."

"I'm sure. I promise you that I'm sure."

Klavier gave him that million dollar smile, somehow now even brighter than before. "Sounds good. It's a plan. Xavier will pick you up tomorrow."

Apollo was of course expecting a whole scene from his mother and sister once he stepped inside, but he had no idea it would be THIS bad.

Okay, maybe he was being a BIT dramatic. He knew he couldn't avoid at least talking about it a little, because he mentioned that he was on a date. He was just hoping that he could retire to his room without having to say anything. But that wasn't going to happen.
