"Mister Morris, that was it! This is the last time you are here, in this building."

"At least I will stay away from the court!"

"Yes. I'm sorry I couldn't help you all these years! I'm really sorry!"

"Don't blame yourself, mister Black! It was my decision to not support myself."

"I wish I wouldn't have listened to you!"

"No, you had to do it! She can raise my son better than me! My son doesn't deserve me in his life! I'm useless to him! He has a great mother! She can help him and offer him the love I will never offer him."

"QUIET!"

I heard the judge yelling. I looked at him and he looked at me back with a furious and ugly look. I lowed my head, knowing that it was the last day I would see Y/n.

She looked so beautiful today, yet she wouldn't talk to me. Her eyes were sparkly, her face was calm! She looked like the girl I had been crushing on since high school.

The girl who kept me company in our school trip. The beautiful girl I talked to when I was in Venice. My heart was beating so fast. Our memories came back. All those lost feelings moved into my heart.

I looked at my fingers. I was still wearing our wedding ring.  I couldn't remove it from my hand. I tried to do it once but I felt so empty. That ring was giving me strength. That golden ring had been placed on my finger with a huge promise on it.

A promise I tried to keep but I failed. I looked at her once again. She was so beautiful!

How could I break our promise?

I was faithful, I had never cheated on her but I never made her happy. I took my eyes off her and my stare fell on my desk. I wore my black hoodie and I covered my head with my hands.

My heart was in pain. My head was killing me. My vision was blurry and my eyes were on fire. It was the last time I would hear my son's name. It was the last time I would see Y/n.

"Mister Morris?"

"Yes, sir?"

"Is your mental health in a good condition?"

Blake was always better with her...I had to let her keep him!

"No! I'm paranoid."

"HE IS LYING!"

I heard someone yelling. I lifted my head and I looked at the crowd. I saw my brother Josh standing up. I motioned him to sit down, but he refused to do it.

"My brother was never a psychopath! Neither paranoid! That woman who's trying to take his son from him is. She divorced him and she lied to everyone! They both lied to you!"

"Mister Morris, Miss Y/Ln, what is this man saying?"

I shook my head and I closed my eyes. I took a deep breath and I faced the judge.

"I do drugs. Keep my son away from me! I'm too dangerous for him! He needs to stay with his mother and only his mother. He doesn't need a criminal like me in his life!"
