Chapter 34

"Si, mamma. Ci saro domani. Ci vediamo presto! Ti amo!"

(Yes, mom. I'll be there tomorrow. See you soon! I love you!)

I hung up my phone and I put it back to my pocket. I smiled to myself knowing that, that time the next day, I would be at Italy, drinking a glass of fresh and cold wine, cleaning my mind from my problems.

I had made a promise to Y/n. I told her I would take her to Italy one day. I found myself standing in front of my very own car. I took my eyes off the tickets and I put them in my pocket. I took out my car keys and I unlocked my car. I went inside the car, closing the door behind me. I turned on the engine and then the radio. I was in the mood of listening to music.

I put the car in the street and I started driving to Y/n's house. I had promised Blake I would come over when I could. I put my car at the parking lot in her small garden. I was lucky because her car was in the garage.

I got out of my car and I locked it. The past few weeks, a lot of people were complaining about the thieves. There were a lot of thieves those days. Some of them had weapons with them.

I smiled at I saw Blake's beautiful face on the window, searching for me. I started walking to the front door, holding the tickets in my hands. Soon, Blake noticed me and he started running to the door. I could hear his little footsteps. I couldn't help but smile at the sound of his little voice saying: "Dad is here!"

Before I could knock the door, Blake opened it and he ran to my hug. I kneeled down and picked him up carrying him to the living room. I kissed his cheek and I put him down. My eyes slowly met Y/n's and a smile appeared on my face.

I walked to her side, placing my hands on her waist as I approached her. She placed her hands behind my neck as she locked her eyes with mine. She pulled me closer to her, making us hug each other. She kissed my cheek as her hug tightened.

"I missed you!"

She said against my shoulder. I smirked and I planted a kiss on her neck. I had missed her so much! Her bright smile, her beautiful face, her small and fragile body, her attractive perfume... I had missed her so much!

"I missed you too!"

She gently pushed me away as my hands found hers. I locked my fingers with hers. My heart was pounding fast. I was lost in her beautiful eyes which I really loved to do!

She looked down at our hands and furrowed her eyebrows. I could tell something was not right. I placed my index finger under her chin, moving her head up.

"What's wrong?"

"Can we talk about it in private?"

She asked. I turned my body backwards, facing Blake. He had already started playing our favorite video game. Then, I looked back at Y/n. I nodded and she took my hand, leading me to her bedroom. Her new house was small but comfortable. It was quite different from mine and hers but I liked it.
