'Buongiorno bella principessa! Come stai oggi, mi amore?'

'Good morning handsome prince! I'm fine. How are you today?'

'I'm perfect because I have an angel next to me and I woke up with her!'

'You are so cute!'

'You are cuter!'

She giggled and she hid her face in my bare chest. I started laughing. I kissed her and I instantly felt a smile on my chest. She finally revealed her face and I kissed her soft lips.

My hand made its way to her belly. I started rubbing it in circles. After we had pulled away from the kiss, my stare fell on her belly.

'How is our piccolo tesoro?'

I asked her with a big smile on my face. She was one month old pregnant and the baby was, of course, mine. I looked at her for a minute and then my eyes returned back to her belly.

'He is funny! He is just growing up!'

I smiled even more and I planted a kiss on her belly.

'Can't wait to see you, mio figlio or daughter!'

I said and my attention returned back to my beautiful wife. I kept admiring her beauty as she looked back at me. I pecked her lips and I smiled.

'Ti amo molto, mi grande amore!'

'I love you too, Matthew!'

I got up from my bed and I walked to the bathroom. I started washing my face. The cold water made me feel so relaxed.

I stopped splashing myself and I slowly opened my eyes, staring at my reflection on the mirror.

I was a mess, as always. I took my white, fresh and clean towel. I started wiping the water off me. As I was done with it, I walked to my room to choose my morning outfit.

Morning jogging! That's what I had been doing since the day of my divorce.

I grabbed a black shirt and a pair of black sweatpants and I walked back to my bathroom.

I wore my outfit and I did my hair. I sprayed myself with cologne. I really hated the smell of the sweat. I didn't smell but it was a habit that I had since I was thirteen.

The sound of my doorbell made me stop what I was doing and walk to the door. I was so confused, like who would it be?

I opened the door and I instantly felt two small arms around my waist. I knew who was it. I bent down and I quickly hug the little boy in front of me.

"Blake! Oh my God! It's you!"

"Dad! I missed you!"

"I missed you too, buddy!"

I kissed his head. My son was back! The only question was, how did he come here?

I opened my eyes and they fell on a female figure who was watching us hugging each other.

"Mio figlio, why don't you go inside and connect the PlayStation with the TV?"

"Okay dad!"

He ran inside being full of happiness. I smiled hearing his little voice in my house.

I turned to the woman's side and I started walking to her. Each step made my breath hitch. I wasn't ready to talk to her.

My feet took me next to her. My heart was racing. I felt like the first time I saw her. That beautiful girl in Venice with the perfect floral dress and the black book.

That beautiful girl from the homecoming dance with that sparkly dress and that bright face. The girl who would lay on my bed next to me and she would encourage me with her beautiful words!

That goofy girl, who would make me laugh all day. My other half! The girl who never stopped making my heart beat so fast!

"Good morning!"

I gave her a soft smile as she gave me one back. I missed her...

"Good morning!"

"So, uh,  thanks for dropping Blake here!"

"He missed you so much! I see you leave in-"

"Our house, yes."

We both zoned out for a couple of seconds. We were staring at our house, a house full of memories.

'Mi amore, do you like our house?'

'Oh my God, it's so cute, Matt! Thank you!'

'Everything for you, mi amore! Ti amo molto! I can't wait to marry you so we can finally move together!'

'Me too Matt! I love you!'

"Matt, are you crying?"

I hadn't noticed that I had been crying. I quickly wiped my tear of my face, trying to act cool.

"No. Something got into my eye. I'll be fine."

"Your lies won't trick me, Morris!"

"No, for real! I'm fine!"

"Oh okay. So, I have to go to work. I'll pick him up whenever he wishes to leave. There's lunch in his backpack."

"Wait!"

I yelled grabbing her wrist, pulling her closer to me. Our eyes met. What I was feeling was like a teenage dream. All the feelings I could feel when I was younger.

"Thanks again!"

"You're welcome. So, goodbye!"

"Goodbye..."

How much I hated saying 'goodbye'. That word was never good...
