"Dad! We're here! Open the door!"

"I'm coming, son!"

I quickly walked to the front door with a massive smile on my face. I unlocked the door and Blake rushed in the house. He jumped on my hug. I gave him a kiss on his cheek and then I put him down.

"Good morning, Blake!"

"Good morning, dad! Mum is outside with the boxes."

"Alright, I'm going to help her. I've made breakfast, go and eat something."

"Okay dad!"

He rushed to the kitchen, making me smile. I shook my head and then I turned around facing the door frame. I went outside and I faced Y/n trying to pick up one of her boxes.

I walked to her side and I placed my right hand on her waist. I kissed her cheek and I attempted to hold the box.

"Let me help you with that!"

She smiled at me and she stepped back. I lifted the box and I walked back to my house. I placed the box on the couch and I walked back to Y/n. This time, she was facing me, so I pulled her closer to me and we shared a passionate kiss.

"Welcome home, my love!"

"Thank you, Matt!"

"How many boxes are left?"

"Four more."

"Okay, so go inside and have breakfast with Blake. I'll bring the boxes in."

"Matt, please, let the boxes where they are and join us too!"

"Alright! I'll join you!"

She grabbed my hand and led me to the dining room. I saw Blake eating his colorful cereals while he was watching his favorite cartoon on the TV.

I grabbed a cup of black coffee I had made and Y/n took a cup of tea. We sat next to each other and we placed our mugs on the table.

"The pirate will save the princess."

I said taking my eyes off the television. Blake then looked at me with a confused face. I smiled at him. I took a sip of my coffee and I put the mug down again. Blake looked at the  screen and two minutes later, he took his eyes off it.

"How did you know it?"

"I guess I have superpowers!"

"Are you a superhero?"

"Maybe!"

Y/n smiled and joined the conversation. She placed her hand on my shoulder and she cleaned her throat.

"Blake, your father is indeed a hero! He has made thousands of people happy and who knows! Maybe he has saved a lot of lives too!"

"Do you wear a mask and a cape, dad?"

I laughed at his question and then I shook my head. I looked at him and I leaned closer to him.

"Blake, not every hero wears a cape!"

"You're right dad!"

I smiled and I looked at my mug. I took my last sip of coffee and I got up. I told Y/n and Blake that I was going to bring the rest of the boxes inside the house.

I was so happy to have them back in my house and this time forever! I couldn't explain my happiness! I finished with the boxes and I walked back to my house. I saw Y/n observing the photographs on the walls.

I walked to her and as I reached her out, I wrapped my arms around her waist. I pulled her closer to me.

"We were so cute! Look at us!"

"We can be better now! We're older and wiser!"

I told her and I kissed her cheek. Holding her fragile body was the only thing that could made me feel so strong! I wanted to go out with her, on a date. I wanted to stare at the moon with her. I wanted to make her feel so special and the most important thing, I wanted to propose her again! I wanted to do this right.

Seeing her in that beautiful, white dress, watching her walking to my side, placing her hands on my shoulders. My dream! My dream would come true and I deeply believed that that time was the right one.

"Y/n, you, me, on a date tonight, baby!"

"I'd love to!"

She gave me a big smile. I smiled too and I pecked her lips. I could tell I was still so in love with her!
