Chapter 15

(Merlins POV)

Arthur could not get enough of my magic. He always wanted to see the little dragon that I made out of sparks of fire. We sat down in front of the fireplace again before the little show started.

(Knight Gwain's POV)

In the evening I went on my usual tour. As I passed Arthur's chamber, I could hear 2 voices. First I wanted to knock and ask if everything was okay, but then I decided not to. I stopped and listened to the door. These were definitely Arthur and Merlin. I leaned my head against the door to hear better what they say.

A: "Wow! Merlin! He's so big and beautiful! Can I touch him?"
M: "I don't think so, he's hot. But We can make him bigger"
A: "Please do it. This is so amazing!"
M: "Okay, Wait, I'll make it ice, then he gets bigger and you can touch him"
A: "Oh wow Merlin! You keep surprising me!"

Okay, that was enough. Doing every day as if they don't like each other but meeting in the evening? It's not bad, it just came unexpectedly. Actually it is even very sweet.

The next day everyone was waiting on the training ground. Only Merlin and Arthur were missing. When they finally showed up, I shouted, "Well, our lovebirds did it too." Arthur looked at me confused, Merlin just smiled. Whatever they did in Arthur's chamber, Merlin seems to like it.

"Everyone takes different weapons, we form teams of two," said Arthur. I went over to Merlin and asked him what the two had done in the evening. "Nothing," he said, staring at the floor. "Gwaine! Look for another partner, Merlin belongs to me today! "Arthur shouted to me. "Just like last night," I said to Merlin with a cheeky grin as I was walking to Persival.
