Chapter 1

Akari's P.O.V. ~

*ring*ring*ring*

"UUGGHHHH, SHUTUP ALARM CLOCK!"

God I hate waking up!

Oh I didn't introduce myself! I'm Akari, Akari Mera! I don't need to tell you much except for I'm a happy person (sometimes) and I'm 17.

I rolled out of my bed and BAM!

I fell flat on the floor.

"UUGGGHHHH! THAT HURT!"

I crawled to the bathroom and forced myself up so I could look into the mirror to see what kind of monstrosity has come to be overnight.

Do I dare look.

Here I go...

HOLY SHIT, I LOOK LIKE CRAP!!

I scared myself, god what happens to me in my sleep. Wait, I don't think I would want to know.

I took a shower and got dressed. I put on a blue tank and denim shorts with black converse. I brushed my brown hair back. My hair is wavy so it kind of was like staHp. I have to have it cooperate or else it will get out of place a frizzy and that just won't work.

I finally after like FOREVER, was ready. I left my apartment with my blue backpack and phone with earbuds. One Piece High wasn't that far but so I could take my time and walk.

After 10 minutes, I got to the school. It was tall and very wide. Grey with giant metal gates surrounding the whole place.

To be honest, I was a bit frightened.

I mean like i don't get scared that easily, but this was a little intimidating.

As I started to walk closer to the gates, I noticed a figure by the gates. With every step I took, it started to look more and more human and I was able to figure out it was...

A Boy! Congratulations Akari, you know the difference between a boy and a girl!

I guess he saw me because he started waving his hands around in the air to get my attention.

"Can I help you?" I asked.

"Well I was told to wait for a new student so I could give them a tour and since I've never seen you around here before, I just assumed it was you!" he said.

"Oh well in that case you're right! Hi my name is Akari Mera!" I exclaimed.

"Hey, my name is Portgas D. Ace," he replied.

This guy didn't seem too bad except he wasn't wearing a shirt.

I mean it's not like he doesn't have a good body or anything cause he does and..

SNAP OUT OF AKARI!

"Why are you staring at my chest?" Ace asked.

"WHAT?!? NO! I MEAN, I WASNT!? UUUGGHHHH!!" I yelled.

"It's ok, I know I'm good looking," Ace said.

Ok, he is pretty full of himself.

"Can you just take me on the tour now?" I asked.

"Yeah that's what I came here for," he laughed.

*******a couple hours later******

"And that's about it, the principal said he wanted you to go see him after the tour so I would suggest you go do that," Ace said.

"Ok and his name is.." I asked.

"Edward Newgate, but some of us call him Whitebeard!" Ace exclaimed.
