Prologue

Hailey's POV,

                 So I woke up this morning, took my bath and went to the kitchen counter downstairs to grab an apple from the fruit bowl for breakfast. After about two minutes of munching on my apple, l heard my phone ring, I went upstairs to get it from my bedroom and saw the caller ID saying it's my mom and I tapped accept
"Hello, Good morning mom." I said.
"Yeah, morning my little munchkin." She said. My mom as this habit of calling me by my nicknames which is a lot by the way. Dad also has that habit.
"So mom you called me, is anything the problem?" I said.
"What! Can you imagine? I called my daughter to check up on her but she's asking if somethings the problem, now tell me is it a crime to check up on your daughter." She said trying to sound pissed from the other end of the phone which made me smile at her attempt to acting. She can be dramatic at times Woah.
"No mom it's not a crime, it's just that I have been stressed for the passed few days because of work, I'm really sorry and I love you." I said but said the last part with baby voice, yeah am childish sometimes, rub it in.
"Don't worry, I can't be angry with my baby for so long and also if you are stressed come to the mansion to stay for a while and take a break from work the staffs will take care of everything." She said with concern.
"Mom you know I don't play with my company like that and also nice try." I replied.
"Chipmunk I know you wouldn't agree, you act so much like your father and I taught it was worth the shot and also my dear please don't stress too much ok." She said. Told you I have lots of nicknames.
"Ok mom I need to go now so I can get to the office on time." I said.
"Wait dear before I forget we are having dinner with the O'Donte's tomorrow evening by 7pm, don't ask questions and don't keep us waiting ok." She said.
"Ok I will be there see you and dad soon." I just replied but I am a little bit curious on why we are having dinner with the O'Dontes, I don't really know much about them, I just know they have various businesses especially the wine company which is doing very well though, anyways I will find out tomorrow evening.
"See you soon chipmunk." She said before we both hanged up.

I got to the company right on time, while walking to my office I received greetings from staffs and I replied with a smile and nod. I used the private elevator to get to my floor but when I got off the elevator I saw my P.A right outside the door of my office smiling at me. When I met her she handed me my cup of tea and so you know my P.A is my best friend Riley.
Riley and I have been best friends since college days, so that's about fives years now and that's because I got into college at the age of 16 and I graduated with a degree in Business administration. She's like a sister to me and I love that we tell each other everything, we like the same movies at least most times and after we watch them we would talk about the movies like crazy people and sometimes start acting like some of the characters although in our free time because when it comes to the company we mean business. Just like when we saw fifty shades the complete trilogy, we just couldn't get enough of it that we even wanted more like there should be a fourth movie or something, we also talked about it a lot too that we colonized most of our business associates who read and who didn't read the books into seeing the movie. Which makes me think, we are kinda good at promoting movies maybe we should go into that too.

"Hi, how you doing hailey." She said with a wide smile as we entered my office while she held the two cups of coffee.
"I am fine and how's my riri doing today?" I asked as we hugged and teased her, after that she handed a cup of tea over to me.
"Doing well but your riri wants to have some fun tonight, how about we go clubbing tonight." She asked with a wide grin on her face that made her look so cute and that got me to chuckle a bit.
"Well my bestie firstly, thanks for the coffee, you're doing a great job as my P.A and also yes let's go clubbing tonight but lets ask the rest of our squad to join us don't you think? Also cut the chase of being all cute to get what you want." I told her and laughed at the part "squad".
"Well I don't get to because I am naturally cute and sure that's a great idea, now let's get professional, you have just one meeting today and it's in a restaurant at 12pm today which makes today not that busy but we need the deal so I am kinda nervous for you because I know you hardly get nervous." She said while I just gave her my whole attention while drinking the cup of tea she made me.
"Ok that's great, come on I can't wait to get this deal and there's nothing to be nervous about you know in as much as we need this deal we just have to try our best and don't worry I assure you my bestie/P.A  I am gonna get that deal." I said and winked.
"Men, I love your confidence." She said almost shouting with an attitude too and we both laughed at her reaction.
