Chaper 26-Gorgeous

Hailey's POV,
     "Franco move I need to get ready for work and tell the staffs what to do" I told him but he didn't bulge he just held me tighter.
"Hmmmm what do you want to tell them plus stop disturbing my sleep"He said closing his eyes to sleep back.
"I thought you already woke up" I said amused by his behavior.
"I am not a morning person" He said getting up.
"I can see that now and I don't think I will have breakfast at home but at work because it's already 7pm and I am already late" I said while I checked my phone for the time.
"You are the boss you can go anytime" He said.
"Says the guy that leaves the house 6pm normally, I am actually wondering why you are not at work yet" I said getting up from the bed and working towards the my bathroom that is in my room.
"I have a meeting later than usual that's why" He said.
"Hailey so do you want to go on a date" He just dropped it.
"Are you me asking out" I said teasingly.
"Oh shut and say yes already" He retorted.
"Ok yes" I smiled.
"So what time and when" I asked.
"This evening by 8pm, is that ok by you" He asked walking to towards me and stood right in front of me surprisingly very close that I hard to raise my head to look at him while he looked down just to stare at me. Damn his tall.
"His Mr Franco asking me out" I said in baby voice.
"Oh shut up" he said before I started laughing.
"Ok that's fine" I said between laughs.
"Then it's a date" He grinned and kissed my forehead before I walked to my room and got ready for the office. When I was done doing my morning dues, I got dressed into a black long sleeve gown reaching me little pass my mid thigh and hugging my curves in all the right places with matching stilettos. I did my hair into a ponytail and applied makeup.

When I got downstairs I went into the kitchen to tell the girls on what to do when they are transferring my things to the masters bedroom and also told the butler Mitch to go and ask Franco what he's gonna have for breakfast. When I got out of the kitchen, I was kinda rushing towards the door so I can get to the office quickly when I heard Franco yelling my name
"Do you have to yell" I said in a bored face and he stood in front of me.
"Sorry for that I wanted to gain your attention" He said.
"Ok now you have, so please can we make this fast am sorry if I sound rude it's just I have to get to the office now" I said.
"Oh no it's ok I didn't even want to say anything" He shrugged and I just stared at him blankly.
"So you called me while I was going to my office peacefully just to tell me that" I almost yelled in disbelief of his actions.
"No that look on your face is priceless" He said laughing profusely and I just at glared him.
"Franco you are so......." I smacked his arm then ran out to my car. "You look gorgeous too" I heard him yell while I was at the door running towards my car so I can leave for the office.
I got to my office just in time, so Riri helped me order my breakfast but now we are currently checking through my schedule for the day
"So Hailey you have two meetings today, one at lunch and the other at 3pm" She said.
"Ok great then, I am hungry and I want to eat now" I whined.
"Why didn't you eat at home" She asked.
"I didn't wake up early enough to spare any time for food" I frowned.
"Well just be patient the food will soon be delivered and why did you wake up late. You normally set an alarm right" She said.
"I.....hmmmm" I could not form what to tell her because she doesn't know I agreed about "making the marriage work thing" yet.
"Hmmmm What Hailey" She asked a bit jumpy.
"I forgot to set my alarm because I didn't sleep in my room instead I slept in the masters bedroom with Franco and I was so I tired that I forgot to set my alarm"I said.
"You what!" she whispered yelled.
"I know it's crazy I actually agreed to make the marriage work so it would be easier to win the bet, that Toby as been bugging me to go out with him knowing fully well I am married and to his friend for that matter and the first opportunity I got for him to back off was the bet so that's why without thinking I agreed but I am not one to back down so easily so I must win the bet"bI said and shrugged.
"Are you kidding me right now Hailey you are acting like a kid, couldn't you have told Franco about his friend's behavior instead" She almost yelled.
"I was going to before the bet, now calm down" I said.
"Oh you are too much and I am calm" She said.
"So what if he finds out it's all just a bet what do you think he will do" She asked.
"I know for sure he would be angry but HEY he is so used to breaking girls heart because I'm sure the girls he normally does those stupid flings with catch feelings but he just uses them for pleasure so" I tried to prove a point.
"Are you hearing yourself right now, ok now answer this question how was he towards you when you agreed" She asked.
"He was sweet" I said feeling like jerk.
"Stop making me feel like a jerk" I said.
"I am just trying to point things out, I'm not trying to make you feel bad so take my advice and call off this bet but I also know your huge ego so that's out of the box. Instead tell Franco about Toby first" She said concerned.
"Ok I will think about it"bI said.
"Can we change the topic now"bI said and she just gave me a blank look.
"Ok you don't wanna, I will talk then. When did you get home after clubbing" I asked.
"None of your business" She said coldly.
"Ok you're not gonna talk to your best friend because of Franco now" I said but she ignored me and just kept operating her phone.
"Really Riri" She still ignored me.
"I'm sorry, I will try to tell him on our date, Happy now. I don't know why you are so concerned about Franco"I said.
"I am not, I am concerned about you instead" She finally spoke.
"What do you mean" I asked curious.
"What if you fall for him, he finds out about the bet and gets angry you are gonna be heartbroken you know but it's better if you don't complicate things with the bet and just try to make your marriage work" She said.
"I don't fall in love and you know that plus I don't know where this marriage is even leading to anyways we're still young we can figure it all out later" I said.
"Really, you think so" She said.
"I know so" I said before we heard a knock on the door.
