Chapter 2-What am getting married to this asshat

Hailey's POV
           I arrived at the mansion ten minutes before the dinner, I think so, anyways I walked straight towards the entrance of the mansion. I knocked on the door and the Butler, Mr John happened to be the one who opened the door welcoming me with a warm smile on his face and before he spoke
"Good day, miss Hailey ." He said with a huge smile on his face. He his like a father to me and his been around since I was little.
"Good day to you John and I missed you so much too." I said with a smile on my face while hugging him before walking towards the sitting room where I saw my parents watching a movie together seated on the couch. When they saw me they rushed towards me, pulling me into a tight hug with both of them kissing both sides of my cheeks and spoke at the same time saying
"We missed you so much baby." They said almost at once and I pulled out of the hug.
"Well I missed you guys too but come on it's just been a week since I last visited and we also have been video calling." I said.
"Who cares you should come everyday chipmunk." My dad said.
"Yeah she should." My mom agreed.
"So when is this so called dinner gonna start I'm kinda hungry already I only ate breakfast and then fruits for lunch." I said holding my belly and frowning my face so they know how hungry I am.
"Well be patient honey, the O'Donte's are on their way." Dad said while we walked to the couch and took our seats. We where watching some action movie when we heard the door bell and John opened the door letting six people into the house.
"Hey my friend." An old but good looking man rushed towards my dad pulling him into a bro hug, I didn't know dad had that kind of relationship with Mr O'Donte. They pulled out of the hug and my dad introduced us....
"Sam this is my wife and my little girl." Come on dad must you say '' little girl ", anyways he said pointing towards me and my mom, then Mr O'Donte gave my mom and I side hugs before he spoke.
"Nice meeting you guys." He said, then I noticed his wife on her phone she didn't even greet or at least acknowledge any of us NONSENSE such a SNOB, so I thought though.
"Hailey my dear these are my kids." He said pointing toward four adults but the one which is the tallest guy, he most be the oldest but I can't see is face clearly because he's on his phone and he also looks weirdly familiar, the rest were looking at me and giving me a wide smile and I smiled at them too. I guess they are happy to see me.
"This is Franco, Emily, Christiano and Lily." He said and I shook all of them except from Franco because he was still on his phone what a snobby rude brat too. Come on, why are people becoming more of snobs recently.
"So everybody lets go have some dinner." My dad said, we all walked towards the dinning room with Mom by my dad's side.
              So half way into the dinner my dad and Mr O'Donte told us they had an announcement to make.
"Hailey my dear your mom and I love you so much and never forget that" My dad said sounding uneasy, also my mom kept staring at me giving me a look I couldn't figure out but I just shrugged it off and said
"And I love you guys too" Then He spoke
"So hailey your grandfather and Franco's grandfather signed a contract that the first born grand son and grand daughter would have to get married, the contract says if you both don't do it you guys would have to give your companies back to your parents. And the lawyers are also involved." My dad said looking at me then Franco making him to raise his head from his phone finally so I could get a proper look at his face and then it hit me I'm supposed to get married to this jerk from the restaurant. To think I didn't even pay attention to the dude from like the past half of the dinner was even surprising to me but I couldn't keep quiet about this and not make a fuss about.
"What! you're kidding right" I said still trying to keep my cool.
"No I am not but you have to do it" Dad confirmed.
"WHAT! dad you know I can't do that." I yelled while getting up from seat and slamming my hand on the table before my dad yelled at me.
"HAILEY don't you dare disrespect your mom and I. You are getting married that's all or should I take the company back according to the contract." He said very pissed, he hardly yells at me meaning this must be very important, more important than I thought.
"Dad I just can't get married to him, can't you see he is such a rude guy he hasn't spoken since this dinner started and come on he didn't even acknowledge anyone." I said trying to prove a point and I guess it was not working because my dad was still giving me that face of your gonna do it.
"Wait it's you, the girl that bumped into me at my restaurant." He finally spoke for the first since dinner started. He sat directly opposite me at the table with the table between us. It's kinda funny how i didn't recognise him earlier, such a jerk, I thought.
"Yeah it's me and what!." I said a little loudly because I was pissed and I knew he was too, judging by his expression.                                                                                                                                        "Wait you kids know each" My mom asked.                                                                                                                 " Yeah we do, we bumped into each other at a restaurant" I said.
"Nothing, is just that I don't want to get married to a bitch but what can I do hailey baby I got to do what l've got to do." Franco said in gritted teeth's not caring if people were around us, he is so annoying. Wait? Why did he accept so easily?
"Hey! don't call me that asshat and ugh you are so annoying. I'm this close to slapping you right now." I said but the last part showing him the tip of my finger.
"Watch it hailey language." My mom yelled.
"Sorry dad and mom for that but I can't do this." I said
"Franco son stop being mean to your to be wife" His dad said sternly.
"Hey kids you guys can work things out and Franco I didn't raise you to be like this" Franco's Mom said, more lie kinda yelled the last part to Franco.I guessed i misjudged her at first considering she kept smiling at me and his siblings were really nice too. To think that after Franco parents scolded him he would keep his mouth shut but he didn't, instead he was boiling with anger before he spoke.
"Do you think I want to do this but we just have to, so you better get your big girl shoes on." He said with that he got up and left but his parents and siblings stayed till the end of the dinner. After lots of thinking I informed my parents I am going to do it. But I am going to tell you this I'm still going to deal with Franco for the way he spoke to me too.
