You had just lost a match to todoroki and you were not loving it one bit, your expression was mutual as you didn't smile or look like you give a shit anymore, you really thought you had trained enough or at least for a little farther up the scale but it all came tumbling back down as todoroki captured you in ice and you couldn't break free
"Yeah well it just feels like everyone is getting ahead and then there's me who just feel like I'm going back in time and becoming worse," you said glancing to the side of you as Bakugou stared down at you
He continued to think about what he was gonna say
"Yeah but at the beginning of the year you couldn't even block or attack him," he said, he was right you did come along way but it just felt like you weren't good enough
"You know what your right, I'll just have to train 10 times harder," you said already making plans
"Hey idiot don't go hurting yourself okay," he said grumbling as he turned away from you
"I'll try!" You said your usual personality showing as he only rolled it eyes
"And you were really good out there, just because you didn't win doesn't mean you're not trying hard enough, you gave it your all," Bakugou said as you starred up at him, eyes wide

The door to the infirmary opened as your redhead boyfriend came to visit
"Hey! I'm so proud of you" he said he walked over to you, placing a gentle kiss on your forehead
Those words would have meant the world if you didn't feel disappointed in yourself.
He sat on your bed, a bit worried.
"What's wrong?" He said grabbing your hand lightly
"I couldn't even land a hit on him, there are a trillion other villains more powerful then bakugou and if I can't even hurt him a bit then how the hell am I suppose to protect people and be a good hero," you asked, doubt and fear welling up in you.
"Well just because you couldn't hit him doesn't make you a bad hero, you stood your ground when he attacked you and left you bruised," Kirishima said as he planted another kiss on the side of your head.
"I would be scared straight if I was fighting against him, and you go with it and still continued to fight even when you knew the outcome, that makes you really brave and that's what a hero is about not just your power but doing good thing for others when you know there's no chance of succeeding or getting anything from it" he explained as you slightly smiled at him.
"I guess so, power maybe isn't always the most useful thing when it comes to being a hero, thank you Kiri" you thanked him for his comforting skills.

Kaminari Denki

"Ugh, I did so bad out there!" You said burying your head in your arms as you slouched over the table
A hand met your upper back as it rubbed in circles a few times.
"It's okay! You did your best plus you looked hot out there!" Kaminari said, taking a set beside you as you blushed into your arm.
"Augh me looking hot doesn't make me a hero kaminari I'm actually trying to do my best," you said challenging his reasons.
"Well yeah you lost but you put up a good fight! You got me scared for a minute I knew you would be okay" kaminari said, you looked over to him.
"What do you mean I got you scared?" You asked
"Well, I'm always a little scared when you are fighting! Not that I don't think your strong or anything it just I don't want you to get hurt, but besides that, I still believe in you!" he admitted.
You sat up, petting his hair as you smiled.
"That's cute, thank you Denki that means a lot," you said as he smiled back, then a smirk was present on his lips, you thought that he was going to make a sly comment... but you were surprised when he said something... totally normal.
" Wanna go get ice cream?" He asked, sliding an arm around your waist.
"..yes.. but your paying!"

Midoriya Izuku

"You did your best out there I'm so proud!" Izuku chimed at you as he held your hands as he looked at you with loving eyes
"I lost I obviously wasn't that great" you mumbled disappointment dreading you as you gazed away from him
"Yeah well, you'll get them next time! Just because you lost doesn't mean you weren't great. You should take it as an opportunity to learn new things" Deku said he was always the optimist in these types of situation
His hand tightened around yours as you looked up thinking something was wrong because he usually didn't do that for no reason
"Plus you're always gonna be the best in my eyes," he said face blooming as your own took a shade of pink
"Thank you, that means a lot coming from you," you said burying your head in his chest as you let go of his hands and wrapped them around his built figure
He returned the affection as you guys stayed like that for some time.

Todoroki Shoto

You were silently crying in the hallway, you guys had training in the morning and you were up against Kirishima, your quirk wasn't really suited for him but I'm pretty sure that's why you guys were paired up
Every attack you landed didn't even hurt or drain him, because his quirk was hardening and it could easily block, a lot of your classmates were telling you that you should use combat, but that was utterly stupid one wrong move and my foot or hand would be shattered to piece by his quirk if It landed a hit on you. You really didn't have any other option and it was pretty obvious that you weren't going to win from the start so You had forfeited.

"Hey," Shoto said from beside you, sitting down next to you as you laid your head on his shoulder
"You did well out there" he comforted, rubbing your leg as a way to tell you it okays.
You wiped your tears, sniffling a bit as your eyes gazed the ground.
"It doesn't feel like it" you mumbled
Ready to cry again as todoroki grip on your leg got tighter.
"Shoto what if I have to fight a villain that has a quirk similar to Kirishima, I'm basically fucked," You asked thinking about the possibility's.
"Well if you're going to die then at least let it be in a fighting way, with you trying your absolute hardest," he said, he didn't want to bear the fact of one day he might lose you to a villain.
"I guess, it just feels like I'm not trying my hardest all my attack didn't even affect him in the slightest" you complained, sometimes you hated your quirk and other times you just wanted to die.
"His quirk is made to do that, you're going to face obstacles in hero work, and it good to have practiced before the real thing" you nodded at his words he was always so wise and right all the time.
You looked up to him a lot, even though he was your boyfriend... he felt like your role model.
"I'll just have to set a new goal for myself, I'll work a billion times harder next time", you got up dusting yourself up as you leant a hand to todoroki who gladly accepted and stood up.
"Well don't strain yourself," Shoto said you guys walked back to class.
