"Where is he?" Cassian asked Mor who had been staying at the house with them.

"I don't know I haven't seen him all morning," Mor replied.

Feyre had just woken up from her slumber, and the only thing on her mind was finding her husband.

"I've checked everywhere guys," Feyre said out of breath.

"You need to rest, you were like dead an hour ago," Cassian said.

"I've rested enough, I just want to find Rhys," She angrily replied.

Mor gave Cassian a look that said Stop trying.

Feyre closed her eyes.

Rhysand, my love, where are you?

Nothing but an adamant wall of resistance.

Feyre's heart dropped, as she remembered what the bond felt like when Rhys died. But then it was nothing. But now, there is something, it just can't be reached.

She walked into her room where Rhys was last caressing her hair and grabbed her coat.

"Where are you going?" Cassian asked following her.

"I'm going to go look for Rhys," She replied.

"I'll come with," Cassian said. Feyre stopped.

"Okay, but be careful," She whispered.

"I should be saying that to you."

She hugged Cassian, and Mor and winnowed outside the door.

The cold air was reminiscent of the night Rhys was shot on their way back from the inn.

Then, and now. She decided that if any harm had befallen her mate, she would tear the world apart with her talons.

Mid thought, her leg got caught on a branch, causing her to fall onto the ground.

"Well, it looks like we're back how we first met," a voice said from in front of her.

Feyre's blood went cold, and her spine stiffened as she registered the voice.

The voice that took her sanity away years ago. Sanity that took her years to find again.

"Hello, Claire. Oh, sorry. Feyre," Amarantha drawled.

Feyre drew her dagger.
