"You're sure?" Cassian said scratching his jaw.
"Too sure, Hybern is planning something. Az?" Rhysand turned to the shadowsinger.
"Yeah, just confirmed," Azriel knew about two hours before Cassian did.
"I thought we were going to live happily ever after," Mor chuckled.
"We will," Amren said. Rhys just looked at his cousin with devastation on his face.
"What now?" He glanced at Nesta.
He had barely made it out alive last time. The memory of Azriel holding in his guts flashed through his mind, the memory of his shredded wings and the scream of agony that pulsed through his veins flashed across his eyes.
"We fight," Rhysand said, nothing but icy determination in his eyes.

Rhys walked into his bedroom, sighing and sitting down on his bed.
Feyre looked up from her book.
"You told them?" Feyre whispered.
Rhys nodded, "I don't like it. I don't like seeing my friends happy one day, then preparing for battle the next."
Feyre put down her book and scooted closer to him, wrapping her arm around his well built torso. "We will get through this, we will."
Rhys turned and looked his mate in the eye, "We will," he whispered back.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Two days later.
"The smart move would be to attack from the right flank first, the mountains reside there, giving us a smart advantage over them," Cassian said staring at the map.
"Don't you think that's a bit obvious as well?" Rhysand asked.
They all stood in the study of the town house. Mor and Az had gone to rally the Illyrians and whatever courts had agreed to ally with them after the last war.
Cassian blew out a long breath, "We could attack from behind, you and Feyre could glamour us while they think nothing is going on in the mountains?"
Rhysand nodded. He decided that Feyre and himself would have to spend tonight sleeping in preparation for the battle tomorrow.
Tarquin and Rhys would be winnowing in the forces tomorrow.
It was a battle done on short notice.
But they weren't about to lose it.
