Niall's POV
It was 1 PM on Christmas Eve. Adelle, her mother, her grandparents, and her brother were rushing around getting ready for the reunion we were all going to.
When Adelle was ready, I see Louis go up to her. I walk up and stand behind her.
He says, "So Adelle, what time are Michelle and Jayde getting here?"
"Louis, they won't be here until tomorrow afternoon. They are spending Christmas Eve with Michelle's family."
"Oh."
He walks away, looking disappointed.
I am still standing behind her when he walks away. I wrap my arms around her waist and kiss her on the top of her head. She turns her head and gazes into my eyes with her beautiful green ones.
Zayn comes walking through the house and he stops to look at us.
Chuckling, he says, "Oh stop it guys!!! Break it up!! No one wants to see that!!"
I turn to him and say, "Speak only for yourself mate."
About 2:30, we all leave the house to head to the community center at which Adelle had told me they had the reunion at every year. When we pull into the parking lot, there are only a few cars there. So, we easily park and help to carry stuff in.
About thirty minutes later, while the guys and I are conversing at one of the tables, Adelle brings another girl over.
"Guys, I'd like you to meet my awesome cousin, Alesea Lowell. She is one of my best friends as well. Believe it or not, she is younger than me."
The girl that stands in front of us looks nothing like Adelle. She has long, curly red hair. She is a little taller than Adelle, perhaps the same height is Liam. As I thought of Liam, I look over to him. He is mesmerized by this girl. So mesmerized in fact, that we have to nudge him to get him to introduce himself.
He nervously says, "Hi Alesea, I am Liam Payne. And I'm afraid of spoons."
Alesea laughs and blushes. I'd be willing to bet that she likes him. So, when we line up to get food, we make sure Liam is next to her.
While we were eating, younger girls from Adelle's family came up to us asking if we were One Direction. When we said yes, they went crazy. We even got our pictures taken with a few of them. Then, eventually, they walked away, their interest focused upon something else.
After eating, there are a few games played. For one of them, they asked for six teams of two. Adelle and I go up and the guys push Liam and Alesea to go as well. All four of us are up there with groups of people I did not know except for Aaden. Then they told us it was going to be a pairs talent show. Each pair had until the end of the night to prepare the act they were going to do. Then, after playing bingo, everyone would perform and the top three would be determined by applause. We all go sit down and start to plan our acts.
Since we had our act planned in under ten minutes, Adelle and I got to play bingo. I had already went to retrieve my guitar from the car. But, Liam and Alesea were out in the hall practicing theirs. From time to time, I could hear Liam laughing. So, I could only assume either someone made a mistake or he really liked her.
After about an hour of Bingo, it was time for the talent show. They said we would go in order from youngest to oldest. So, Adelle and I would be third to perform. First up was two kids that appeared to be around seven years old. They hula hooped. Then, Adelle's brother and another boy were next. They did a dance routine to 'Cooler Than Me' by Mike Posner. They were amazing. It was then time for Adelle and I to go.
