Hello friend - I look forward to spending this quality time with you - my friends/readers.
Today I wanted to talk about the care factor we have in our lives. Jesus is our example and he had the best care factor you could ever have.
On a scale of 1 to 10 - what is your care factor towards others? What would you like it to be? What do you think Jesus would like it be?
You see - I personally don't believe that you can have much of a positive impact on the lives of others unless you have a big care factor - what do you think? I am not here to judge you - for we are told in the bible - that He without sin, let him cast the first stone. I personally don't know any perfect people - but I do want to inspire you to have a
good care factor for others - and if you don't then I encourage you to pray for God to change your heart -
so that you may truly get that care factor and so that you may be able to inspire uplift and help point others to our wonderful, caring, loving, forgiving God.
Let's pray
Dear Lord
We come to you today with a thankful heart that your love for us knows no bounds. You love us so much that you sent your only begotten son to die on the cross so that we may live forever. We are so thankful that your care factor for us is so wonderful that it is beyond description. Help us to have a really good care factor for those around us Lord. Create in us a heart that is full of love, care and compassion. Help us to look at people through your eyes - and see them with the same importance that you would see them with. The person addicted to alcohol, the gambling addict, the smoker who just seem to throw away the packet, the lonely, the homeless, the sick, the terminally ill, the beggar, the rich the poor - they are all so precious to you - so precious in fact that Jesus shed his blood for them. How awesome is that? That is love beyond description.
Lord help us not to look with critical or judgemental eyes at others - for we don't have that right. We can't read hearts. We don't know what tragedies/trials another person is going through - only you know that. You are a forgiving, caring, wonderful, loving God - and you only want the best for us. We are so lucky that you are in charge. We know life isn't easy - but we also know that you will walk through whatever hardships we endure with us. You will walk through both the good and bad times with us.
Each decision we make on a daily basis has an eternal influence. If we are kind, caring, compassionate,
understanding and forgiving to others - then we are following Jesus example.
Love one another is what we are told to do. Help us Lord to work both individually and both as a team
with other believers to spread your good news to those around us. The gospel is good news....and we can all do with some good news. Lord forgive us for when we weren't kind enough, caring enough, loving enough, supportive enough to those within our reach. Help us Lord to really lift the bar - help us to live unselfishly - and help us to do whatever is within our reach to make the lives of those around us more pleasurable.
Lord if we belong to a church then I pray for each member to show love, kindness, care, consideration and forgiveness to each other - help us to pray for each other, encourage one another and always work from a position of goodwill toward each other...praying always for each other - for we are brothers and sisters in christ. I pray Lord for you to be in a special way with our Pastors/preachers ministers as they do such a wonderful job in leading out. Please Lord be with our
Pastor Mike, who is such a great preacher - we are so lucky to have him - help, encourage and support him and his family in a very special way. When you have a great leader - it does help the church alot in such a positive way - it is a big job being in charge of a church - It takes alot of work and commitment - and we appreciate our Pastors/preachers/ministers so much.
Help us to be great witnesses to our loved ones/friends/neighbours/workmates, etc - those we come in contact with. Help us to remember Lord that each day as we go about our daily lives - we are your representatives to the world. Help them to want to know you because they have know us. Help us to remember that Jesus that didn't own a car, he didn't own a house, he didn't even know where he was going to sleep at night - and that he was so poor that he was buried in a borrowed grave...but yet his care factor was unbelieveable - and he was the greatest one who has ever lived. As we contemplate what Jesus did for us - and the life he lived to reach so many souls - let us also be wonderful, non-judgemental, loving, caring, forgiving people - showing by our kind deeds, actions, love, care, and concern how much we care about others - help us to point others to the great light and treasure and that great light and treasure is you Lord. Amen.

Friend - How are you going to spend today? Are you going to spend your day trying to uplift and inspire people in your journey along earths road? Are you going to treasure every second of every minute that you get to spend quality time with your loved ones? - and are you never going to miss an opportunity to tell those that you love how much you love them? Are you going to wear a smile?- Are you going to have an attitude of gratitude for even the smallest things in life? - and are you going to be appreciative of every good thing that is going on in your life? I know I am. Treasure this day friend - for once it has passed - it can never be retrieved. When you look back at this day from eternity - you want to remember it as a day well spent - don't you? - I know I do:-)
Ephesians 4:32
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake
hath forgiven you.
God Bless:-)
