We were now driving in our black SUV with darkened windows that we had been given for the mission. Holly was driving since I didn't have a license and Jason had only one arm. I was wearing my favourite outfit for werewolf hunting because it made me look extra badass. I wore leather leggings, black heeled boots and a leather jacket. My long brown hair was out and my gun was in hand. I was so excited about this mission I wasn't even paying attention to Jason.
"Are you listening to me Jade?" Jason growled and I gave him an apologetic look. "This is the last time I'm explaining so listen up. There have been some wars among packs in the south so they have all come here as refugees. We've heard that they're trying to get into the pack here in the national park of Boise. The pack is called the Red Moon Pack and it is the biggest in the entire country. Their alpha is ruthless and cruel but apart from that, we don't know much about the pack. They made a deal with these refugees, allowing them to join the pack. It is believed in return, they are giving away some of the names of our best hunters. This mission is very crucial. Our aim is to hunt down every last one of the refugees and kill them before they give away the names. They were last seen in an abandoned warehouse just outside the forest. Tonight, they will join the pack so we only have enough hours until the sun goes down before the refugees will be within the packs protection. This pack is huge and well protected from us so we'll never see those refugees again."
"Stop worrying Jase, we'll find them all." I reassure him.
Jason passes me a map, showing me all the exits to the abandoned warehouse and where they are believed to be hiding. The warehouse was quite big so we were going to have to split up.
"There are believed to be at least twenty of them so we're quite outnumbered. Lucky for us they are families and not all adults. The children will be easy to pick off." It didn't bother any of us that we would be killing children. They were werewolves and all werewolves had to die, children or not.
Holly pulled the SUV to the side, one kilometre from the warehouse so that we weren't spotted. We would walk the rest of the way. Holly opened the boot revealing all of our weapons which were all stacked on top of each other.
"Gear up." Holly said excitedly and reached in for her daggers. I put my new gun in my pant pocket, two daggers in my boots, a knife in my pants, another gun in my other pant pocket, two swords attached to my back and slung my special bow over my shoulder along with some arrows.
"Also here, they're trying out this new thing back at camp. Wells said we should try them out." Holly passed us each a small whistle.
"How lovely." I raised an eyebrow. "Is this a rape whistle?"
"No! You blow and it shoots a poisonous dart laced with silver. It will kill any werewolf if you are running out of hope." I nodded, actually thinking it was a good idea and stuffed it in my bra.
"Who is Wells?" Jason narrowed his eyes at Holly.
"Her boyfriend." I butted in and Holly sent daggers my way.
"You got a boyfriend? Who is this bloke? I'm going to smash his skull." Jason demanded.
"No you won't!" Holly said petrified.
"Has he touched you? God if he's put his hands on my little sister..."
"I'm not your little sister! We're the same age you twat!" Holly slapped his arm and he groaned at the pain.
"Will you two shut up or the werewolves will hear us! They do have heightened senses and I doubt they aren't keeping watch for someone to come along and stuff up their plans." I hush them as I begin to walk. The knife I stuck into my pants digs against my leg and I can just tell now that it is going to be a pain so I end up carrying it along with me.
