Bonus: Chapter 18 & 20

Taehyung'S POV:

"Jisu forgot her jacket." I tell myself.

I follow the direction where she was heading the last time I saw her. I hope I can still catch up to her. I wouldn't want to be knocking doors.

Isn't this the way to Chae ra's apartment? I hear Jisu's voice, I see her with Jungkook talking.

I should just leave them two, I see a figure walking towards Jisu and Jungkook from a far.

"Jisu-ssi!"

Chae ra knows Jisu? That means Jisu is Min Jisu, Chae ra's best friend from Australia. That's impossible.

Chae ra sees me and drops her bag, Jisu turns her head and sees me.

"Ji su?"

"Are you..... Min Ji su? Chae ra's best friend?"

"Taehyung-" She tries to walk closer to me but I step back.

"What was your plan? To play with me? Huh?" I felt so stupid, I only felt hurt and anger.

"After you knew I had cancer you didn't feel any conscience. You were supposed to be there for me."

"Because of my illness I shut everybody out of my life especially the people I love."

"What?" Chae ra speaks up,"Chae ra listen-" tears were falling down Jisu's face.

I couldn't understand why would she do this. I ran as fast as I could further away from her.

I was supposed to tell her that the doctor said there has been a misdiagnosis of my cancer.

That doesn't matter now...

I unlocked the door, Yeontan greets me as he starts jumping up and down. I walk towards the fridge and grab 3 bottles of soju.

When I closed the refrigerator door I see Yeontan sitting by the doorway with his head tilted to the side.

Suddenly I felt hesitant to drink down my emotions. Jisu was right, I should stop hurting myself with alcohol.

She gave me great advice and I couldn't deny that. She gave me a chance for something new. She gave me Yeontan, who was secretly watching over me. I wouldn't want him to see me make mistakes.

I threw away every soju bottles I had. I wouldn't forgive her but I do need to confront her about why did she do it.

I arrived home with the letter in my hand. Something that wasn't mine was sitting on the couch.

I reach for it and it still has her scent, it was Jisu's jacket. Speaking of jacket, I called Yeontan to try on the gift that Jisu gave him.

Where the flowers grow and the nights are starry?

Is she waiting for me at the park?

I immediately stood up and rush out the door. I wanted to meet her and why would she want me to see her.

I run to the park, I look around for her.  It was getting a bit late, where is she?

Maybe she's in Chae ra's apartment.

I knock on her door and see a man answer the door.

"Yes?" He asks.

"Is Chae ra there?"

"Why?"

"I just want to check up on her."

"She doesn't want any-" The door swungs open wider than it was.

Chae ra's eyes were red and puffy.

"What are you doing here?" She looks at my wiping her nose.

"You're looking for Jisu. She's not here." She scoffs.

"What do you mean?" I asked confused.

"She left this afternoon, all her things are gone." She really left?

"Taehyung." She starts to sob and she covers her face with her hands.

"Did you get a letter as well?" She asks.

"Yes, why?"

"Do you think she's the girl on the news?" She cries out.

"Girl on the news?" She cries harder, the unknown man wraps her in his arms.

"There was this report on the news about an unknown girl who killed herself." He explains.

Is that what she meant by where the flowers grow and the nights are starry? She meant heaven.

I felt weak and I couldn't believe it. I felt like I couldn't move at all, she was gone.

"Chae ra..." I hand her the letter Jisu gave me.

The whole night we talked to each other about how we should resolve things for Jisu's sake - even if she was dead or alive we have to resolve things for Chae ra and I as well. They let me sleep on the couch for the night.

I start to think of her once again. I felt lifeless like I couldn't do anything to bring her back.
