REVENGE: Taehyung

thirty-two | Variety Show

I stare at the ceiling, zoning out. I wish I could stay like this forever.

I wake up in the middle of the night, I couldn't seem to fall asleep. I put on a hoddie and a mask on, I went outside for a walk.

Walking through the streets of Seoul somehow was calming. I just walked and let my feet lead the way.

I look around the houses and buildings that pass by me. Why do I feel as if I've been here before? I really should've brought my earphones.

I stood in front of an apartment building. Suddenly remember this apartment building, it was Taehyung's old apartment building. I hear people coming, I rushed to he nearest car I could hide behind.

A woman in a sparkly short dress, she gives the man a peck before stepping down on the stairs. The woman pulled the man in a blue polo shirt with the first two button open.

"Oppa." She whined.

"Why can't I stay?" She begged while sliding her hands on the back of his neck.

"Because you're getting tipsy and it's getting late." He grabs her hands.

"Okay... But I hope we can see each other again." She says and puts her face closer to his.

She gives him a quick peck and attempts to make out with him. "You should really go."

She pouts, "Okay."

She turns around, I could see his face clearly. Taehyung?

"Bye babe." She says before getting in her car and drives away.

I watch him go in of his building, I stood up from where I was hiding. Thank goodness I was wearing a mask and a hoodie.

I was back at my apartment, I lay down on my bed.

Who was that girl? Well who am I to intervene we haven't talk to each other since... our kiss.

I should really get some sleep before I look so bloated in my interview tomorrow.

Today was our public appearance as a couple in a variety show. Jungkook and I are getting our makeup done.

"Where were you last night?" He asks while his eyes are still closed.

"What do you mean?"

"I went to your apartment last night and they told me you went out."

"I couldn't sleep last night so I decided to take a walk."

"Did you get a good night's sleep?" He asks.

"Yeah. You?" I look at him while the makeup artist was making quick touches to my lips.

"Since you've been here, I slept like a lamb." He smiled cheekily. His makeup artist, Soori, rolled her eyes.

"What noona?" He looks a her.

"Stop saying cheessy things when I'm here, got it."

"Don't say that it hurts my heart." He chuckles.

"You're such a flirt." I say as I rolled my eyes, I walk over to the couch.

"I know, he's been acting weird lately." Soori sighs.

"I have to deal with him everyday."

"It must be a burden." I say jokingly, we both laugh.

"I'm right here you know." He crosses his arms and pouts.

"Oh... We know." Soori says before leaving.

"You're so mean!" Jungkook yells out.

"And you too." He says as he stands up from his chair and makes his way over to me.

"I know you're weakness Kim Jisu. At first I thought it was okay for you to tease me by then I thought you would do it again so I'll give you your punishment."

"What are you doing?"

He starts to tickle me, "Stop. What am I five?"

"It seems like it, you've been acting really childish lately."

"Stop!" I cry out while laughing.

"Say you won't tease me anymore."

"I'm willing to risk it." I try to get away from him.

"Are you sure?"

The variety show started, the hosts soon called us out.

"Today we have a special guest, I mean two special guests. They've been in the news recently and their relationship has been confirmed yesterday. This is the first time they'll be seen in public."

"Guests please come out!"

As we walked out people started cheering.

The other celebrity guests were in shock. "Isn't that Jungkook?" Heechul, one of the panel of guests, asks in disbelief.

We were asked to introduce ourselves.

"Hello. My name is Jeon Jungkook, Korea's Angel."

"Hello. My name is Min Jisu."

"Please take care of us." We both said in unison.

The panel of guests were sitting in a round table.

"Wow! You're really pretty." The host said.

"Thank you." I bowed.

"You guys have been together how long already?"

"Approximately 24 hour since our confirmation." Jungkook says jokingly and the crowd laughs.

"Just kidding, we've been together for about a month?" He turns to me.

I think to myself, "Yes, one month."

"She's really cute." Hani, one of the celebrities chuckles.

"She really is, when Jungkook asked her she looked up to think." Heechul points out.

I hide my face with my hands.

"She's getting flustered!" The host says.

Jungkook grabs my hands and slowly removes them from my face.

"Are you okay?" He slouches to get a better look at me.

I slightly nod, "I'm getting flustered. It's like I'm watching a k drama." Heechul says.
