HEYYY! Sorry that I haven't uploaded lately. I've been pretty sick and it hurt. :( Well, now that I am writing, ENJOY!
~Recap~
I stirred. "Syd?"
"Hey," She said, looking up at me. "How's it goin'?"
"I told you not to come..."
"Well, I came anyway."
"No... You don't understand. He's tracking you.... The man with the head..."
"With the head...?" I barely heard her ask, but i was already asleep.
When I woke, I was alone in the same room, a blanket covering my body. "Well, You're awake. I've grown bored watching you." A deep voice stated. I froze. Sanies. Crap.
"Show yourself, you coward." I growled, looking around the darkened room.
"My dear Stella! I'm not there, I'm in your head. You must learn how to communicate with me thought our little link." He chuckled.
Little link? He's lying. He must have placed something in my ear. I reached up and found a small device attached to my ear. I grit my teeth as I yanked on it, ripping the tap holding it there from my ear. I threw it on the ground with a gasp of pain. I needed to destroy the thing. As I tried sitting up, a burst of pain shot thought my leg and I cried out.
"Liz!" I heard Syd yell, leaping into the room and stepping on the piece on the floor. "Are you okay?" She asked. I rolled my eyes with a sly smirk.
"Thanks."
"For what?"
"He had placed a small device on my ear so he could speak to me and I could speak to him. I threw it on the floor and you just stepped on it which is what I was trying to do in the first place. So, Thanks." Syd sighed and nodded, looking up the camera in the corner of the room.
"Arty, come down here." She told the camera.
"Arty? Sense when are you so friendly to our captor?" I asked. Syd looked back down at me, a slightly confused look on her face.
"You don't remember? Oh gosh, I have so much to tell you!" She exclaimed, plopping down on the bed next to me.
"Wait, I'm not so sure that I want to know." I told her. "I remember bits of my past life, and all and all, it seems like a living Hell. I just want to live a normal life with normal parents and normal things. I don't want to be some fairy that have to hid from the sun, from the above ground! I don't care about Holly or Artemis, or Butler or anyone else. I don't want to remember that there's a man named Sanies that's trying to kill us or that we killed Abigale Rush and that we met a boy in the woods who then tried to kill us and lock us up. I don't want to remember this!" I gasped. Oh gosh.
"Liz?"
"Gosh Damn it! I remember it!" I screamed, shoving my face in the pillow.
"You okay?" Artemis asked, walking in the room. "Syd? What's wrong with her?"
"She remembers." I heard a soft 'Oh.' as Syd stood and left.
Did I want this? Did I want be a fairy. The truth was, I did. I really did but I didn't want to have to ones around me to get hurt because of me. "Syd, I don't know what to do." I said into the blackness. The door opened and Syd sat down next to me. "Why are we not fairies yet? Why are we still in these stupid human bodies with no memory of what really happened?" She sighed and explained.
"Wow."
"I know, it's a lot to take in. you don't want to see our old bodies, trust me, it's really creepy." I laughed and sipped my tea that Artemis had brought in.
"So, what do we do now. We need to get Butler back before something bad happens to him. I'm not going to be any help because of my inquires." Syd nodded.
"Well, we got a phone call an hour ago. They said that they wouldn't hurt Butler unless we do what they want. They also said that they would wait until you were healed, and if we ran, they would kill him."
"They?"
"Yeah, don't know why the other or others are. Still waiting." I nodded.
"So, what are we going to do now?" I asked, finishing off my tea.
"Now, we wait."
I know that this chapter was boring and all, but it was a filler chapter!
